Alzene relieves the symptoms of allergy in:
* hayfever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) and perennial allergic rhinitis - sneezing, runny nose or watery eyes.
* hives (chronic urticaria) - itchiness and reddening of the skin; raised or swollen lumps.
This medicine may cause drowsiness and may increase the effects of alcohol. Do not drive or operate machinery if affected. If you are pregnant or may become pregnant, check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine.
Dosage:
Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1 tablet (10mg) daily when allergic symptoms occur.
Children 6 to 12 years: Take half a tablet (5mg) twice a day when allergic symptoms occur.
Each tablet contains cetirizine hydrochloride 10mg
