Has a good mouth feel to it[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mouthwash came to me in a dental kit I purchased at a popular pharmacy in the CBD. Needless to say the packaging is easy to grip, and feels comfortable in the hands with an upmarket design.
This mouthwash does work, yet it's also re-assuring to report that this product does not have alcohol (the Colgate Plax in the kit anyway). On the other hand, I do prefer Listerine alcohol free mouthwashes as the taste and after feel is more powerful with more food stuffs being released between each tooth prior to brushing.
I still like this mouthwash, yet is a little weaker than other mouthwashes used.

Pleasantly minty[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Colgate Plax is a great everyday mouthwash that is both mild and very effective. It is very mild, so it suitable for everyone. It is fresh and minty, and leaves a pleasant sensation in your mouth.
Just a small amount is needed, and you can use it twice a day to day to keep your whole mouth and teeth healthy. It helps keeps your breathe fresh, reduces tartar and leaves your teeth feeling cleaner and fresher. A good value mouthwash which is often on special so it is great to pick some up and keep your breathe fresher for longer.

Average Mouthwash[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this on sale in a Freshmint and its ok but nothing special. It says on the bottle that it doesn't burn your mouth but I find it does after a few seconds I can really feel it and can't gargle for too long.
I wouldn't say its a freshmint taste though as it's not that "minty" or leaving you a fresh minty after taste in your mouth either. The after taste is hard to describe but I don't find it minty personally.
Makes your mouth feel cleaner I guess but thats it

Orthodontist Recommended[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to have some emergency work done on a tooth. I was referred to an orthodontist who did initial emergency work, but I had to wait 6 weeks before the rest of the work could be completed. My Orthodontis recommend that I use the Red Plax . I noticed that I had very little plaque build up on my teeth and this was confirmed when I went for my yearly clean. I have since tried the Whitening Plax but found this mad my teeth a bit sentsitive so I reverted back to the Red.

Prefer this over Listerine[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the mint flavour (green). I have been using Listerine for a very long time, and got a big sample of this from my dentist. When I used it for the first time, I hated it. It is not strong and tingling like listerine so I did not think that it cleansed properly. I did not feel like it worked and i was also not used to the taste. A week later when I finished the first bottle, I purchased another one because it was on sale and much cheaper than Listerine. I have been using Plax ever since, and now I can't go back Listerine because it is too strong and has too much alcohol in it. I like that Plax actually works in its own way and without alcohol. I have also discovered the Plax fesh tes which is my preferred flavour.

Great mouthwash![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great mouthwash which I have been using on a daily basis for many years. I use the 'Freshmint' flavour which is not too strong, yet does a great job at removing the plaque which still remains on gums and teeth after brushing. Best of all, it doesn't make my eyes water or give me that feeling that my mouth is on fire. Highly recommend this mouthwash to anyone that wants to ensure their teeth and gums are left super clean and fresh after brushing!

Not powerful enough[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nowadays I am not a regular mouthwash user. I used to use Listerine daily, which is my preferred brand, but I use it now only a few times a week if I feel I am in need of a freshen up. A bottle of Plax was in a sample kit given to me by my dentist.
The taste is minty and slightly underwhelming. I enjoy the 'sting' of mouth washes, which this one does not have, so for me this one doesn't give me that clean feeling - though I think in terms of oral hygiene, being in pain from a mouthwash is not a sign it is working properly! I didn't feel as though my mouth was healthier than other brands after using this. I think it is a good choice in a pinch if there is nothing else, but I wouldnt buy this after trying the sample.

Yummo Spearmint Aftertaste![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this in Freshmint which is the green coloured one. It is alcohol free and is gentle on my cheeks when I swish with it. It doesn't have that biting burning feeling that mouthwashes used to have. I like this one a lot and find it really gives me confidence with how fresh my breath is. After swishing with this for 30 seconds I find that my mouth has a delicious spearmint-like aftertaste to it. I love that! My favourite mint is spearmint!!
