This product is the answer to all who have lost that filling when the dentist is closed, or to tide them over until they can get to the dentist. Rated 4 out of 5 by from A product to recommend. The product is excellent as a temporary measure, easy to apply and hardens quickly. It also lasts well and you don't have to keep reapplying if you have to wait for a dental appointment..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant invention! This stuff is absolutely brilliant for temporarily filling in lost fillings or broken teeth. I actually used it to fill in a bit of broken molar next to a filling. Dentafix becomes strong/hard enough to do the job well (in 15 mins exactly as the packaging says), and crumbles easily like fine plaster when you need to get it out. You'll also notice that it comes in a tiny tube, but it should last for several applications (depending on the size of the tooth's hole) -- and it's a lifesaver when travelling. My tips would be: (1) For me, it would stay in perfectly -- until the moment I chewed food on that side (even soft food). However, I found that if you can avoid chewing food directly on the side of your mouth where the Dentafix is (and brush/mouthwash gently), one application can actually last for a couple of weeks; (2) I would use in conjunction with antibacterial handwash (for your hands) and a good teeth clean and antibacterial mouthwash before applying; (3) I also learned it's best to use pretty much exactly the amount of Dentafix to fill the hole. It's not a big deal if you put way too much in, you'll just notice it in your bite until it easily chips away (once you start biting/eating). Just match the size of the Dentafix dose with the size of your fallen-out filling. (4) Same goes for smoothing the surface of the Dentafix; you won't feel it when the surface is smooth. The little spatula provided can help with that task. All in all, a brilliant invention!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not so good I've found everytime I try to use this it hardens up nicely but as soon as I brush my teeth etc it just falls straight out again. Have yet to have it last more than one day if that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless Every time I put it in the hole in my tooth it just fell straight out. Wouldn’t stick to the tooth at all. I’ve tried this product a couple of times now and won’t bother again.
