Directions For Use

Apply, to clean, dry lips at least 20 minutes prior to sun exposure. Reapply every two hours and after swimming, sweating, exercise and toweling dry.

Warnings and Disclaimers

Avoid eyes. Not to be used on broken skin. If irritation occurs, wash affected area and discontinue use. Avoid prolonged sun exposure and wear protective clothing, hats and eyewear to further reduce risk. Use sunscreen generously and reapply.

The fact that it has an spf of 50+ is an added bonus. The only down side is that initially it was a bit tricky to get it out of the tube, but once you have done that first one every application after is fine. I am absolutely in love with the packaging of this balm. What an alluring packaging for a lip balm. Can apply easily and keep your lips oily and glittery for long time.

It is so good to prevent sunburn while nourishing my lips and then extra good to apply when I did get sunburnt (i forgot to put it on!) This lip balm is encouraging on many levels: + Fragrance free (so non-irritating to the skin) +Is contained in tube packaging, which will help to keep ingredients fresh +Clearly prints the product date and expiry date (good stuff to know) +Has a UVA rating for four stars ('superior') +The texture isn't super sticky (a pet hate of mine) +The price is very reasonable- $5.99

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gilded from Protects and hydrates I bought this lip balm mainly for its spf 50 sun protection. It comes in a opaque squishy tube with a slanted tip. There seems to be this extra bit of plastic hanging around the tiny hole on the slanted tip that is not comfortable on my lips when applying the lip balm. Hopefully this little defect is just a one off as I don't think the extra bit of plastic was meant to be part of the product packaging. The lip balm is clear gel-like texture and smooths onto lips easily. It has a slight sunscreen scent that I'm not too fond of. The high sun protection puts my mind at ease when out and about but I have to be careful as this lip balm can leave a white cast. If you want hydration and sun protection, this lip balm is sufficient.

I got this in the December 2014 Beautorium, and have ever since been using it as my daily lip balm. It has a smooth texture, and creates a moisture layer on top of the lips to keep them moistured for an extended period of time. I can't stand lip balms that absorb into your lips, and your lips are dry 5 minutes later- this lip balm doesnt do that, so this is a big plus for me! And with 15+ SPF, you can spend a long day at the beach knowing your lips are protected!

It is a creamy and moisturising formula. Especially great for those with sensitive lips from being on Roaccutane as the SPF50 really protects that area well The tube is a convenient glide-on design. It is a squeeze tube and only a little needs to be squeezed out per use. It's handy to have one of these in the handbag. It's good that it's designed as a unisex product as guys need to protect their lips just as much as girls!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alicia D. from Hydrating and protecting Im a big fan of this SunSense Lip Balm SPF 50+ as I can pop it on before I leave the house and it lasts for 4hrs on my lips when im out and about. I tend to get dry lips when im outside or if it's very hot weather and this really does hydrate my lips and makes them super soft. The lip balm doesn't have a scent/fragrance or taste to it and it doesn't irritate my skin at all. My kids use it too. It is also affordable and I would definitely recommend this to everybody as it protects the lips from the sun. I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Temporary Princess from Can't love this enough! Ok, how can you NOT absolutely love this lip balm? Firstly, SPF 50! Not only that, this little baby has a smooth, melty balm consistency that would just sink into the lips and keep them soft and happy. I have nothing else to say about this lip balm, except that you NEED to get out there and grab one for yourself, so get cracking! This lives in my bag, and I'm seriously contemplating picking another up so that I can have a back up if it should disappear. Would you believe that this is also insanely affordable?

Rated 2 out of 5 by Boosh from Not a fan of the white residue... I love the moisturising component of this product. It leaves your lips silky smooth and rids all dry flaky bits. It's the perfect lip balm in that sense HOWEVER, unfortunately I've had to stop using this lip balm because it leaves a horrible and VERY noticeable white cast on your lips. And these white marks will sink into the lines on my lips, making them appear as though they are dry, flaky, wrinkly lines - not a fan of, at all! I am extremely disappointed that I now consider this product unusable!
