Azelaic acid-Finacea gel is a topical treatment for papulo-pustular rosacea and mild-to-moderate acne vulgaris.
The period of use of Finacea varies with individual patients and the severity of the skin disorder. Improvement is usually noticeable within 1-2 months of treatment.
In most reported experiences to date have been for treatment periods that did not exceed 6 months, Finacea has been used for up to a year or longer in properly selected cases for control of individual lesions, and repeat courses have been employed for reappearances.
It is essential that Finacea is used regularly throughout the treatment period. Optimal duration of therapy depends on the severity of the skin disorder.

A beautiful, effective product
An elegantly formulated, fast penetrating and effective product. Appears as a light white lotion-gel, it absorbs quickly and leaves a matte finish. Apply too much and you will end up with white patches but a thin layer is more than enough. I find this completely non-irritating on my dry, sensitive, thin skin and it has reduced redness, roughness and pustules from rosacea. As a side effect it is slowly reducing some patches of melasma too but a higher concentration would be more effective for pigmentation. Overall this a brilliant product formulated with a very underrated ingredient (azelaic acid). We are very lucky to be able to get this without a prescription in Australia so stock up!

I was prescribed this medication for hormonal acne. I live in the USA, which everyone knows has one of the WORST healthcare/medical insurance systems for a "developed" country. It costs about $250 here, so obviously, this is a better choice.
In regards to the actual product, Finacea, I absolutely LOVE it. However, you cannot be stingy with it; you really have to apply a liberal amount. This has been the ONLY thing that has helped my cystic hormonal acne, and believe me I have tried everything except Accutane. Everything.
Shipping takes about 2 weeks to East Coast, USA, so plan accordingly.

Can't belive I got it & it REALLY works!!!
Here in the US, all of a sudden, the price of this Rx skyrocketed to like $250 my COPAY & I have pretty darn good health insurance - long story short, I quit using it and got a cheaper one, but it's only 1%. Didn't work at all & my face got progressively worse & down right embarassing. I was desperate, so my sister in law gave me a few links, Canada & Australia. I took an amazing trip to Australia in 08, so I HAD to chose Australia. Had no idea (or faith) that it would come, first of all, and then no real hope that it would actually be THE Rx...slowly but surely, my face is getting back to how it used to be. i will be a return customer for sure.

US rosacea sufferers -- get this!
This tube costs hundreds of dollars in the US. With shipping, I think I paid about US$30 for this from Chemist Direct. I've been using this cream every night for about a year (and a tube lasts about that long) and can confidently say that Azelaic acid -- plus eliminating the standard triggers (heat, sun, etc) -- has saved my skin. While my skin isn't flawless like it used to be, you would never know that I have rosacea. I have sensitive skin, so I don't wash my face at night as washing plus AA can cause stingy. I just put a thin layer of this all over my face and go to bed. In the morning I wash with water and use a tiny bit of Avene moisturizer. That's my whole skin routine.

Affordable alternative
I purchase this from chemist direct because my country has excessive prescription costs and I’m only able to purchase with insurance and a script in my country. If I were to use my script insurance and pharmacy in my country the cost of this product would be over 200$usd. Thank you for helping me care for myself in an affordable way. I purchase one tube per year and it lasts me a very long time. Maintenance use one time per week does it for me.

Happy to purchase this product, it works.
Finacea was prescribed to me by my dermatologist and here in the USA my cost for the same size tube would have exceeded $240 USD. Finding it online here and purchasing through Chemist Direct was a pocketbook saver and skin saver. I noticed immediate improvement upon first application and have been using every other day for 90 days. Would definitely recommend this product and am more than satisfied with price and international shipping. I would not have been able to afford this prescribed medication to treat my skin without using Chemist Direct.

Never Stop Selling Finacea, Please!
So happy I found Chemist Direct! As many know, prescription insurance in the US is ridiculous! It cost $303.00 for one 50 gram tube here. But at Chemist Direct, it is so affordable that I don't have to worry anymore! I've been using and been prescribed Finacea for over 20 years for my rosacea and more recently, my peri-menopausal cystic acne. It keeps the redness under control from the rosacea and helps slightly with the acne. So please, never stop selling Finacea!

Cured my acne!
This cream is absolutely life changing! I don’t understand why it’s not more widely known. Doesn’t cause dryness or redness like benzoyl peroxide, doesn’t stain your pillow and best of all it works!
