It comes in two applications - Mist and Medium Stream. The mist is perfect for immunisations, botox and fillers, blood tests, injections for medical conditions and local anaesthetic injections. The Medium Stream is used more for removal of foreign bodies, ingrown toenails, draining of abscesses, sprains, strains, bruising and trigger point techniques. Due to the fast acting nature of Pain Ease® there is no need to apply prior to attending your appointment it can be taken with you to your next appointment and applied just before having the injection.
Gebauer's Pain Ease - Instant Acting Vapocoolant Spray
Gebauer's Pain Ease is an instant topical anaesthetic skin refrigerant that is fast and easy to use, eases the anxiety of injections for patients and is intended to temporarily control pain associated with:

Easy to Use Instant Topical Anaesthetic - Pain Ease acts instantly so there is no waiting as with anaesthetic creams. Swab the area with antiseptic, spray Gebauer’s Pain Ease for a few seconds, and perform procedure. Temporary numbing lasts up to one minute. Pain Ease can be reapplied if needed. You don't have to worry about placing it in the wrong area for injections which means it's ideal for training novices due to its ease of re-application.
Does Not Vasoconstrict - While anaesthetic creams and gels can vasoconstrict following application and hinder cannulation, Pain Ease does not vasoconstrict.

Important Risk and Safety Information for Gebauer's Pain Ease® - Published clinical trial results support the use in children three years of age and older. Do not use on large areas of damaged skin, puncture wounds, animal bites or serious wounds. Do not spray in eyes. Over spraying may cause frostbite. Freezing may alter skin pigmentation. Use caution when using product on diabetics or persons with poor circulation. Apply only to intact oral mucous membranes. Do not use on genital mucous membranes. The thawing process may be painful and freezing may lower resistance to infection and delay healing. If skin irritation develops, discontinue use.
