Versatile oil
If you are new to aromatherapy, you need at least one carrier oil to create massage blends with. Sweet almond oil is often recommended due to its versatility and softening quality. I find that sweet almond oil absorbs well into my skin.
There are many uses for sweet almond oil. The oil is highly beneficial for any extra dry areas of skin. It makes a great oil for your nails and cuticles. You can make a simple body scrub by mixing sweet almond oil with some sugar or sea salt - I prefer sea salt as it has a purifying quality.
As with any oil, it is best to store sweet almond oil in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.

Softening
I've tried a lot of different oils, but sweet almond oil is still one of my favorites. This product can be used as a body oil, make up remover, hair treatment and moisturiser. Its a very pale golden colour (almost clear when you apply a few drops in your hand) and it has no smell. It feels a little bit thick and can take a few minutes to absorb, but once it does absorb your skin is not greasy. I use this occassionally on my face, lips and other dry areas to moisturise. When I apply it to my face I make sure my skin is clean and still little bit damp because oils spread better on damp skin. I think this is just as effective at softening your skin as jojoba oil, but its cheaper and seems to soothe my skin more. I just wish the In Essence bottles of jojoba and sweet almond oil came in pump packaging. I poured some of my sweet almond oil in a small pump bottle I bought.

Silky oil, non clogging
I originally bought this oil for my body and massage, but I started using it on my face and have found it great when I have dry" moments. it's a really great high quality oil and the packaging is gorgeous.
Any Tips?:
try adding rosehip oil to the almond oil before applying to face
