So soothing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These came with my pump - and I didn't think I'd use them BUT then I found myself with a painful, injured nipple and they came very much in handy. Were soothing and helped me heal quickly. Minimal odour, and I was able to reapply a few times.
Having said that - they are more suited to once BF is established, as you need to wash and dry your breast before applying, and work well when they are able to remain in place for some time. When cluster feeeding/early days this may be difficult.

Cheaper options out there
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these gel pads based on the fact that they were the only ones in the chemist I went to at the time. As most new mums know, your nipples can suffer and be all kinds of sore. These pads helped to soothe in between feeds and were safe for bubs. Good but I'd go for a cheaper option as they did the job just as well.

Midwife recommended.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My midwife recommended I pack some of these in my hospital bag and keep them in the fridge for emergencies. And sore nipples are an emergency! These instantly calmed the searing pain and sped up recovery time so we could continue our breastfeeding journey. You so need to wipe your nipples clean before feeding baby.

Good but not great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As well as the initial sore and cracked nipples as your body gets used to breast feeding in those first few weeks, I have had ongoing problems with the nipple on my right side. So I have tried MANY options for nipple relief and healing. This product is better than some, but still not quite as good as others. It does provide good soothing relief and helps the nipple heal quickly. Unlike some other brands, these pads do not smell, which is great. However, the down side is that you do have to wash your breast before feeding. This is not ideal in those early days/weeks of cluster feeding, or when you are out and about. (Unfortunately, the best product that I have found is not on this website for me to review - but any of you poor Mummas out there struggling with sore nipples, go and get yourselves some Multi-Mam Compresses. The best product on the market in my experience.)

Highly recommended
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had very painful cracked nipples when first started breastfeeding. I was given a pack of these to use and found them incredibly relieving. I actually kept them in the freezer (my daughter was born during the heat of summer) and found this gave extra relief. I have recommended to all new breastfeeding Mums

Really trust the medela brand and have found them so soothing especially in the early days and using them chilled. I washed them inbetween uses and found they lasted the duration of time I needed them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these gel discs. In the early days of breastfeeding my nipples got very sore and cracked and these gave great relief. I popped them in the fridge for extra cool relief. They fitted well and stayed in place. They are a bit pricey but they do a fantastic job. Highly Recommend.

Lifesaver for a new mumma
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was lucky to pick these up before having my baby, so had them on hand ready to go. They are easy to use and were able to use them multiple times which was good. They also provided a lot of relief which was definitely needed at the beginning of breastfeeding. A bit pricey too.
