A small amount goes along way, pleasant fragrance without being overpowering, leaves skin feeling soft smooth and refreshed, looking fresh. Definitely value for money, quality product.

Hate the new formulaLike others, I've used this product for literally the last 12+ years, it's hard to say. I was so disappointed to learn that the formula has indeed changed. I really dislike the new product. The consistency is much different than before, more gel-like as people have said, and it's definitely for the worse. The creamy texture of the original was so much nicer. I have always struggled with oily skin - even at 39 - and have definitely experienced more small breakouts since the change. Worse yet, the price was significantly higher in shops where I purchased it. I'm going to start looking for something better.

They have changed the formula Not As GoodNot only has the packaging been changed but the formula has been changed and this is no longer creamy buy a jell which is slimy on the face and harder to remove. What a shame the original was such a perfect product.

Cured my acneI have tried several cleansers to help calm down my acne breakouts, and this has worked incredibly great for me so far. My boyfriend actually uses this cleanser, and I got to try it because I left my cleanser at home while I was at his place. I have combination skin that isn't sensitive, so I really love the menthol feeling after washing. My pores feel tighter and my face feels cleaner after every wash. It contains salicylic acid, so it's effective for acne treatment. Whenever I get a new pimple, I place a bit of this product on top and leave it on overnight. When I wake up, the pimple is less visible. If you do not have sensitive skin and need something that will give you a deep clean, I recommend this product!

New formula, much worseThe original with the yellow band at the top of container was so much better, the white liquid/cream that turned into a great, oil removing foaming cleanser.
The new all white container with the translucent cream is way worse, my skin is way more oily and it doesn't remove oil as much or work as good. I've been using the yellow top one for many years and it worked fine.
Release both and clearly label the difference or bring back the original.

Why did you change it? :/I have been using this product for 12 years and have always had clear skins, since changing it my skin has broken out like crazy :/ I am going to have to find something else as I can’t use this product anymore. Very disappointing..

Silky Smooth[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser is a fantastic hydrating cleanser. I was pleasantly surprised after using this cleanser that it did not leave my skin feeling dull and dry. It left my skin feel hydrated, soft and silky. The cleanser foams very well into a thick consistency which helps removes excess make up and properly cleanse the skin. The cleanser is gentle on the skin, does not strip the face of moisture or cause any irritations. I will definitely be adding this to my skin care routine. I love the hydrating aspect that the cleanser has and that it deep cleans and leaves the skin feeling hydrated and refreshed.

Why oh why did you have to go and ruin it??I have been using this product for many years and absolutely loved it. Wouldn't use any other cleanser. It foamed beautifully and always left my skin feeling so soft. The new formula feels terrible on my skin. It doesn't foam nearly as well and leaves my face feeling tight and dehydrated. I am so disappointed and will now have to find another brand which suits my skin better.
