Good oil control scrub
I used this product for 2 weeks and I do feel slight improvement to my oily skin. I first felt the scent was too strong but it'll wash away and the scrub itself is more of a gel so I wasn't used to the feeling of not fully foaming up to clean my face.
It's a good product for the price and more suitable for younger skin. The scrubs were a bit harsh for my face so I only used a little bit of it after the 3rd day. But I started using it for my elbow, underarms, inner thighs, back of my shoulders. It actually worked really well. Essentially, too harsh for the face and less coarse than body scrub.

It actually works!
First thought was how lovely this cleanse smells! I had to pass this cleanser on to my daughter who is struggling with teenage breakouts and very oily skin. Her forehead was quite congested but I have noticed after a week it has decreased dramatically. She also suffers blackheads on and around her nose and they’ve also cleared dramatically too. She is quite sensitive and dries out when she uses other scrubs but she hasn’t experienced any of that since using this cleanser. We’ve tried many products on her skin and not had results like this before. I’m excited to see how her skin will look in a month

Nivea Purifying Wash Scrub
Was easy to apply as it lightly frothed on application with water. It removed excess oil and dead skin leaving a soft, smooth appearance after washing off. My skin did not become dry or scaly after use. I absolutely loved the fragrance of subtle tropical freshness.
There were less microcrystals than I was expecting for a scrub however enjoyed the product for the benefits it produced.
The 150 ml squeeze container was a perfect size for travelling and the push lock lid was easy to use with no leakage.
While I was gifted a product sample to trial and review I will be purchasing myself in the future as I so much liked this product.

A powerful scrub
This Purifying Wash Scrub cleanses my skin with its micro particles and leaves a moisturising feel because of the natural algae formula. The most noticeable effect from this scrub is the smoothness of the cleansing foam from the algae that glides on my skin. When my skin becomes oily, I find the particles help remove impurities leaving it clean and clear for the next day. I also like that the squeeze bottle is easy to apply and fits easily into any small space. Overall, my skin is sensitive and soft, so I found this effective as a part of my weekly routine or during times when my skin was oilier than usual. I was gifted a product sample to trial and review.

Great product for daily use
As I have the classic T-zone face, I always keep my eye out for a new product aimed at oily skin, so I was keen to try the Nivea purifying wash scrub.
Like all Nivea products, it smelt fantastic and there was a nice fresh smell which I’m putting down to the fact it includes ocean algae.
I used the product first thing in the morning so it gave my face a non-oily feel for the rest of the day. The gentle exfoliant wasn’t too hard on my skin.
After a few days of use I felt it was certainly making a difference to the look and feel of my face. I will certainly be buying this again.

Sensitive Skin Beware
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the idea of 2 in 1 face wash and scrub but unfortunately this one feel a bit short of my expectations. Don’t get me wrong it does leave my oily skin feeling clean and smooth but that feeling doesn’t last very long nor is it worth it when my skin gets very tender after using this product as a light scrub. Seeing as I don’t have sensitive skin it does make me caution anyone with sensitivity to be wary when trying this wash and scrub. I probably wouldn’t recommend this scrub to anyone I know as there are plenty of better face washes and scrubs for the same dollar value.

Great budget-friendly product for your face!
I love exfoliating beads! So its great that this Nivea purifying wash scrub has them so you don't necessarily need to use a face sponge to add more pressure to the skin. I especially love that the beads absorb into the skin well and feels great texturally so you know it is doing its job. After about a week trying this, my face does feel smoother and softer but I also follow up with facial moisturisers just incase it dries out. A bonus is because its a Nivea product, I already know it smells great and doesn't give off any harsh dry feeling on my face.
