Herbal laxative.
What's It For?
An effective, gentle herbal laxative to relieve constipation. To improve bowel regularity we recommend that plenty of water and fibre be included in the diet.

Active Ingredients Per Tablet:
Aloe ferox (Cape Aloes) leaf inner juice powder 120 mg
Rhamnus purshianus (Cascara) extract
equivalent to dry bark 140 mg
Zingiber officinale (Ginger) root powder 20 mg
Elettaria cardamomum (Cardamom) fruit powder 5 mg
Peppermint oil 300 mcg.



Special Features and Benefits:


Combines laxative herbs with carminatives to prevent griping pain that is often associated with laxatives.

Formulated for effective morning response to 'before bedtime dosage'.
Mode of Action:
The laxative herbs in this formula (Cape Aloes, Cascara) contain anthraquinone glycosides which cause peristalsis of the bowel wall, stimulating evacuation (normally around 8 hours after intake).

Ginger, Cardamom and Peppermint are carminative herbs that help relieve the discomfort associated with constipation, as well as preventing the griping pain that is often associated with laxative use.

Contraindications and Cautions:


Do not use during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Do not use if suffering from abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhoea or vomiting.
Prolonged use of laxatives may cause serious bowel problems.

A dark green, round biconvex tablet with opaque coating.

Dosage:


Adults - Take one tablet with a full glass of water with main meal and one before bed, or as professionally prescribed.

Children (under 12 years) - Only as professionally prescribed.
