L-Phenalalanine
Phenalalanine is a precursor for the neurotransmitters dopamine and noradrenaline. Levels of these neurotransmitters in the brain are increased by phenalalanine supplementation. These particular neurotransmitters are associtated with mood, memory, alertness and concentration. Phenalalanine also causes the release of cholecytokinin that controls appetite.
