Rated 4 out of 5 by pepsilid from A staple. I have been using this shampoo for a couple of weeks and have found the ends of my hair to be less brittle and breaking less. Over time, I have found my hair is getting stronger and I am seeing more of a shine. I do find that I need to use more of the product than I have needed to with other shampoos, however, once you have enough it lathers effectively. The fragrance is fresh and authentic, without any fruity-tacky scents to be smelt. Upon first use, the seal needs to be removed inside the lid - and if you don't remove it initially and try to squeeze the product out, it can be a bit of a pain to get out after forcing it up and into the lid. We have been using the newly designed bottles for the last month and are so disappointed to find that there has been a change to the formula. We are now finding we need to shampoo twice to get a lather, we need to wash our hair more often and my scalp is irritated and itchy. I’ve even found some “cradle cap” on my scalp. I’m really disappointed that after all these years, I need to start searching for another brand..

I was hoping that this product would improve the condition of my hair and reduce the breakage of it. I must say that the shampoo did not disappoint. I have been using this shampoo at least twice per week over the last couple of weeks, and I can see the improvement in my hair. It has hydrated and made my hair stronger. It looks healthy, and it's easier to detangle it. I like the design of the bottle; it's straightforward to use, and the bottle looks sleek, elegant, and modern. The first couple of times, I just used it once per wash but found my hair was quite oily afterwards. I needed to start using it twice per wash, which improved the oilyness. I didn’t notice a significant benefit to the health of my hair, but once I started using it twice, it maintained a nice smoothness. Rated 4 out of 5 by KathL from Repairing and leaving my hair sleek and smooth I have used this shampoo, along with the conditioner/leave-in conditioner, 3 - 4 times a week in the last couple of weeks. I like how my hair feels smooth and hydrated after each wash, and even though I don't necessarily have damaged hair, it works well with my frizzy, dry-ends hair, too. I love the smell of my newly washed hair, especially the lingering fragrance of lavender! Rated 4 out of 5 by Trudip from Improves with each wash I was keen to try out this A'kin formula as I have coloured hair with extensions and find my natural hair can look wispy and fly-away. The shampoo is very light and with a lovely fragrance which is good, but I felt that I needed to use more than I usually would to get a lather. I got the best results from using the full regime - shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner which leaves my hair more tamed without feeling heavy. Will continue to use as I can see it improving. I was gifted a sample from A'kin.

It feels like my hair has never been dyed before and I'm once again working with natural hair (which we all know isn't true at 45 years of age, I highly recommend this shampoo to anyone with even a little bit of damage.
