So gentle
When I received this product to review the seal was damaged. I didn't noticed until I tried the conditioner that there's a seal.
The product is in an easy pop lid. Simply squeeze and product comes out. I like the design and feel of the packaging.
I sniffed the product and the scent was mild. It foams up nicely and cleanses well. It is gentle on the hair and leaves it feeling soft. It didn't leave my hair tangled unlike some shampoos I've tried before.
I really enjoyed this and my scalp didn't feel itchy which is good.
My partner has sensitive skin and I have facial ezcema. This worked well with no irritations for the both of us.

Volume boost shampoo
Volume boost shampoo, I have been using this product for a few weeks now . Already I notice a change in my hair . I have long bleached blond hair ( to cover the grey s😬) I live by the beach and I’m always in my pool . With all the chemicals from pool, my hair was lifeless before I started using Alkin. This shampoo is great as it gives my hair the volume it needs especially on those hot days when your hair is looking flat . I don’t have to use any thing else . I highly recommend this shampoo it’s great for straight hair and easy to use . I only use a small amount every second or third day . Followed by the Alkin conditioner.

Great shampoo

Bouncy, defined curls
My hair has changed as I have aged, so I have been through a plethora of products. I really liked this shampoo! It has a subtle, summery scent and lathers up nicely. My hair is naturally quite curly so it left my hair volumous and my curls more defined and bouncy with continued use. I have not had to use as much other products to define the curls and tame the frizz. I used it along with the conditioner so that has really helped. Personally, I am not a fan of volume in my hair when it is straightened, but that ain't the product's fault. I received this product from A'Kin to review and will be buying again.

Smells like summer
I love the fresh summery smell of the coconut & lime of both the shampoo and conditioner. You dont need much, it lathers easily and leaves my hair feeling really clean.
My hair is fine and slightly curly and when I let it dry naturally the curls seem more defined and bouncy. When I blow dry, it is easier to style it there is definitely more volume.
I also dont need to wash my hair as often which is a big bonus. I have a keratin treatment on my hair so finding sulphate free products is a must for me and although this product was gifted to me to review I'll definitely be buying in future.

Great for giving a volume boost
I am very happy with this product, I have used for a few weeks and my thin lifeless hair has more volume and shine than it has in a long while.
The scent is quite nice, but not overly noticeable the next day.
The bottle is easy to use, however a larger capacity bottle would be nice.
I was given this product to try by A’Kin to try for my honest opinion.

As a user of Akin hair products for many, many years, I love the quality and honesty of the product, but am super disappointed by the new packaging and the fragrances that have been introduced. The product no longer stands out on the shelf and is hard to find amongst all other product offerings. It is no longer a product a product that can be easily used by children. The new packaging doesn't fit in a smaller hand and the absence of the pump means that a measured dose for a child is no longer possible. Finally the fragrances. I cook with coconut oil; it doesn't smell of anything, so why is there a distinctive smell of "coconut" in the shampoo? Akin has traditionally stood for natural scents, not complicated "on-trend" ingredient listings and certainly not inclusion of obvious artificial scents.
