Directions For Use

After cleansing your face, exfoliate gently. Always wet your face before applying Benzac Blackheads Facial Scrub, massaging it in for 1-2 minutes using your hands – and don’t forget to cleanse your neck either! Wash off with warm water and pat your skin dry before applying your treatment gel and finish with a moisturiser. You only need to use the scrub twice a week and we recommend that you only use it in the evening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This exfoliating scrub is great for clearing whiteheads and small bumpy texture on the skin. It has a lime green color and lemony scent. I especially love that the texture has fine granules unlike many other scrubs on the market. The fine small granules are great to use on my sensitive skin. It’s not harsh and does a great job at getting rid of whiteheads. I especially like using this a night before as part of akin prep, if I have to do a full makeup glam the next day. It doesn’t get rid of stubborn blackheads but that is because those need extractions but for anything else this does a great job! Highly recommend it. 9/10

This product I only used once due to it causing my skin to become itchy, as I was washing it off. Itchiness of the skin didn’t last long. As, I wasn’t comfortable using the product more then once I can’t comment on how effective this product is with dealing with blackheads. I used the Yuka app to scan this product which it scored a 4/100. When applied this product has a gentle exfoliating feeling. The scent of the product was fine.

The particles are very fine, which allows for a good clean and exfoliation without being too abrasive. Particles are actually rice extract, so much more environmentally friendly than products that previously used microplastics. This product is not recommended for daily use, but I didn’t have a problem using it in this way for removing heavy duty suncream. It did the job perfectly without drying out my skin. No breakouts when I switched from my normal product to this for 2 weeks.
