I can’t tell you whether it has lessened my scars or not to be honest, I am using silicone as my surgeon instructed me to post breast reduction/lift. I mostly use the silicone sheets however these are not always practical hence trying the gel.
This gel has been the worst decision I have made this year. I purchased 3 tubes which is just sufficient for occasional application on my larger scars. The gel takes a long time to dry and in that time I found out that any fabric it touches will be left with a very obvious greasy looking, and discoloured stain. I have tried everything to remove the stains however, even the company producing this has said there is nothing to remove the stains- I will say though that their customer service response was very understanding and friendly. Unfortunately though my two favourite shirts (one silk, one cotton) are completely stained and ruined which is extremely frustrating as neither is replaceable. I cannot begin to tell you how much I regret using this silicone gel without the warning that it would stain and ruin fabric so badly.
