Directions For Use

Remove strip from pouch. After cleansing your face, thoroughly wet your face area (where you have clogged pores or blackheads). The strip won't stick if skin is dry. Dry hands. Peel strip off plastic liner. Apply to skin, smooth sides down, pressing down to ensure good contact with skin. Let dry for about 10-15 minutes until stiff to the touch - like papier-mache. Slowly and carefully peel off starting at edges, pulling toward centre. See the results on the back of the strip!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Margaret759 from Difficult to use I've used these a couple of times and each time, I have followed the instructions to the letter , yet I find the strips incredibly painful to remove. They dry so quickly and completely, I have almost felt like I'm about to tear my skin and I need to re-wet them thoroughly to get them off. I've experienced the same with both the nose and forehead strips. And they didn't appear to pull out any blackheads or stuff from clogged pores (maybe my skin is already pretty good). My husband uses them, and thinks they are terrific! He doesn't find them as painful and you can see the stuff that's been pulled out of his pores, so he finds the strips very effective and will use them about once a month.

It just takes off the surface clog, and allows the product to penetrate the pores. This is a really great standby for people like me who have very deep pores and a tendency to 'oil-seeds' in the skin. I like the fact of the different shapes, and I often cut the strips to fit in awkward places like around the nostril crease, especially when I don't need it all over. I reserved a star, because they can be a little prone to not sticking properly, or sticking to much, at times, even though the correct wet/dry balance has been acheived. Sometimes one side will be too dry, and the other too wet..

Rated 4 out of 5 by maymarlade from Worth your buck I have found pore strips with better "stripping abilities" but the only ones I found had a terrible chemical scent to them. The Biore ones don't have a gross chemical scent to them and are effective in pulling out my blackheads etc. The only issue I would say I have with the actual pore strip is that it doesn't fit my nose that well. It might be because I don't have much of a nose bridge, but I don't think this is a huge issue for many. I don't have very large pores on my face and find that the face strips quite ineffective on my face, but I would definitely recommend the nose strips!!

I really love the combo pack because you can grab a pair of scissors and cut them in half and place them where you want. The rectangle ones can be chopped and placed in a T-shape on your forehead. The nose strips (un-cut) sit really well on the chin and it gets rid of the gunk there like magic. Oh the endless gross fun you can have with these things! And they make your skin feel cleaner, clearer and smoother to the touch. The proof is in the gross stuff that gets pulled out of your skin and it is right there to see with your own eyes. (We all gawk at the detritus on the strip, some of us just don't admit it ;)

I've been using different blackhead strips for the past year and have tried several different brands and options within brands. These strips are about average. Pros - - The face strip shapes are super useful for areas other than the nose - Skin is left feeling fresh and clean after each use - Strips aren't painful to peel off - Decent pricing Cons - - Aren't as effective as other Biore pore strips such as the Charcoal and Ultra strips - Not enough face strips compared to nose strips I would personally not buy these again simply because I prefer Biore's Ultra pore strips and find them to be more effective.

I suffer from large pores on my cheeks and chin so I was pleased to find that this product caters for those areas too. It can be a little tricky using these at first, especially since I kept applying them with too much water (on my face, strip and hands), but once I got the hang of using them correctly I was surprised (and grossed out) at what was actually inside my pores - worst of all, I went all these years with such clogged and dirty pores. They do such a great job. Once I've used the strips my pores are practically invisible! I will continue to repurchase this product as it is now a staple for me.

I got to try the cleansing strips every time new type comes around, hoping they will work better. There are 7 nose and 7 face strips that you would apply wherever you have congested pores. I did use these straight after the shower, as the steam would open pores and soften my skin for better results, so the extraction is done easier. Or so I hoped. After peeling it off, I could see maybe couple of things on the strips, but that was it. I have combo sensitive skin with big pores that tend to clog easy, and being mid aged, skin sheds slower. So tip for 'older' girls: exfoliation would remove dead skin cells and soften skin more so the strips could reach the blackheads easier.

I have been using them for about 10 years. They unclog my pores without drying out or irritating my skin. They only leave a little bit of residue that comes off easily with a damp cloth. No annoying fragrance either, which I always try to avoid due to my sensitive sinuses. I can't recommend these enough! I use them once per week to help keep my skin clear after cleansing or exfoliating in the shower in the morning. I use them more on my nose so often end up using the forehead ones on my nose instead as it is more cost effective to buy this large multipack than the 6 pack of just nose strips.

There is something so satisfying about pulling off a pore strip and staring at your pus plugs. Now sometimes they can be hit and miss but you need to make sure you have a really good application and you leave them on for a while. Do I think they are the best beauty invention? No. Do I think that I could live without them? Yes but like I said, it’s fun and fulfilling to pull it off and see the results. The pack is well worth the dollars. I do prefer just the nose ones but variety is good

I exfoliate/ cleanse use these strips on my forehead, nose and chin then a pore refining mask. I never really see much on the strips after I use them but then I've never really had problems with blackheads and use the strips just to keep things clean and clear. I find that the strips for the nose work and fit better on my chin than the face strips. If i'm using these on their own I generally follow with an astringent or toner to clean up ay residue and to help the pores stay clean.

They work in as little as 15 mins and the results are amazing, soo amazing you can see the blackheads sitting there on the strip, eww.. Both my hubby and I like to use these once a fortnight (or more if needed) to rid our pores of the dirt, leaving beautifully clean pores and skin. They really work wonders on blackheads and pores and are so cheap they sell themselves. I will definately be buy these again and again!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sara16 from Super satisfying I love these and am slightly too obsessed with them. Having large pores, I get a lot of blackheads and this is a regular part of my skincare routine. I use this once a week after exfoliating (it makes the blackheads come to the surface more) and I'll leave the strips on for 15 minutes, sometimes 20 minutes. Then I gleefully peel them off to see how much gunk has been removed from my skin and then excitedly try to show my partner the results (who is completely grossed out by it). With the rectangle strip, I alternate using it on my forehead or on my chin. My skin will feel so much smoother after using the strips. I've tried other brands like the Holika pig nose strip packs or the Formula 10.0.6 strips but these ones can't be beat.

For my young skin I found it very beneficial and after seeing so many chick flick movies I simply had to try these pore strips I suffered many blackheads on my nose and forehead around this time and found these strips really helped to clean them out. Once a week ensured I didn't overuse the strips and risk irritating my skin or yielding poor results. Each use really ensured a deep clean and followed by a cleansing, my skin felt and looked alot better Over time however they have stopped working as well so I have discontinued use. However, I would recommend these for those who do suffer quite alot of pimples and require extra help to deep clean those pores.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Munaza from delivers what it promises These have been my go to strips for almost 6 years.I have blackheads on the nose area only but I get the combo pack as its more value for money and use the chin strips on my nose after the nose ones finish. I use it once every fortnight. First 2-3 years I used it once weekly and over time blackheads have reduced and pores on my nose have become smaller (and I just use these and a scrub) now I need one every fortnight. They definitely remove black and white head as you can see on the strip once you remove it. Leaves my nose skin soft, tight and smooth.

I like how t isn't just for the nose area and the brand recognises that there are other areas that the strips can be used on where there may be blackheads. It pulls out gunk from your blackheads and has instant results reducing the look of blackheads, however there are a few downsides. I think that this product may temporarily make your skin look better but it is abrasive and harsh as it is pulling and tugging on the skin which can cause premature wrinkles and other problems. it also leaves sticky residue on the skin after use which is uncomfortable. overall this product is good for instant results but I would not reccoment long term use.

However i will admit i have used them on my husband (much to his disgust! lol) he is a mechanic.. and it drives me insane looking at his clogged pores and just wanting to clear them up!!! and they work great!!! They're easy to use, not uncomfortable to remove... and seem to get the job done well! The only negative remark i could make is that they do leave some clogged pores behind.. so you may need to redo the proceedure a few days later. And for those with sensitive skin i would be test first as it can leave the area red and irritated because of the glue. Otherwise, they are definately a product i like to keep in my beauty cabinet!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Vmwhitak from Not as effective as the ultra pore strips I bought a packet of these combo strips as well as a packet of the Biore "ultra" nose strips. I found that the ultra version of the nose strips was more effective at getting gunk out of my nose (but it stung my sensitive skin more, so there is a trade-off there). The combo strips did an OK job at getting the gunk out of my forehead and chin but I think in future I'll stick to the ultra strips and try using them on my forehead and chin too. Tip: make sure you rip off the strips very slowly and very gently - its more effective and hurts less!

My pores did appear to be be minimised, though this result didn't last long so these would definitely be great to use when required. I don't actually suffer from blackheads so I don't need them for that reason, but its nice to be able to get in there and remove all the nasty stuff from the pores and have them slightly minimised so I will purchase them again because they are a great buy as I personally didn't think these were unreasonably priced (around $0.80 a strip).

Not only did it not have any visible results and was painful and frustrating to use, it made my acne worse in the areas I had used them. I also tried them on my brothers acne to see if the problem was just with me but it wasn't, they had no effect on his face either. Do not buy this if you are looking for a quick acne fix. However many reviews have been positive so maybe I just had a bad experience. RESPONSE FROM BIORE: We're very sorry to hear you've found this product a bit harsh on your skin. The application and instructions are very easy - you just need to apply the strip to a clean but wet nose, wait 15 minutes until it hardens and then peel it off! It is so satisfying to see what comes out of your pores, so you know it's working! I probably use them once a month for a deeper cleanse. I tend to have very small breakouts on my nose, but that's most likely to the clearing out of the pore (I tend to breakout after I get facials as well).

Simply pull off the clear plastic, dampen slightly with water and then place on your nose. Leave for around 10 minutes until its quiet stiff and then slowly peel off. I always love to see what has been removed as it shows just how effective this product really is. For me, it removes small blackheads and built up make up thats hard to remove. I use these strips every 4-6 weeks and love the results and clean feeling. My partner is a boiler maker and he get alot of grease and oil on his face, he uses these strips every 2- 3 weeks and they remove all excess clogged up grease from his nose. We could not live without these strips and thank the heavens biore provides them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Princess75 from A really good gimick I've used these strips on and off for years - essentially since they came out. whilst the idea behind ripping all the gunk out of the pores in one hit is a noble one, we forget that there is an open hole left behind that is inevitably going to refill. I find the only way to get rid of black heads properly is with an excruciatingly rigid skin care routine. My other issue with these is that for my skin, i find the sticky too strong and i end up with skin lifting with the strip at the side of my nose just below the inside eye. i will admit to still having used them in the recent past but now only ever for a really hard to move blackhead to give me a head start on it and i always trim the sides off so it doesn't actually sit on my face, only my nose.

I usually like to apply after my shower as I know the steam has helped open my pores right up. You leave on for 15 minutes. You feel the strips go rock hard once they are dry. Then it's time to peel them off. Now this part is a bit uncomfortable as it sticks very well to your skin (in order to pull the yuckies out from your pores) so your skin lifts up as you pull. It's amazing to see just how much it collects. Pretty gross but yes, let's admit it, also very satisfying! The only negative is that sometimes some of the tacky residue off the strip remains on my face so I have to wash that off. I usually then wash my face with cold water to help close pores.

I was sure to use them properly in order to get the best results. Used them as I had gotten out of the shower and prior to use I placed a hot wet towel over my nose for about 5 minutes to open up my pores. Used the strips as per instructions and found excellent results - so satisfying peeling it off and seeing all the gunk on the strip. Must say that it can be a little painful to peel off the strip however. Can't wait to use them again!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lawliet from More suited to those with a tonne of blackheads I don't have very many blackheads and usually after a steam facial those suckers come right out! but I decided to give these pore strips a go to get rid of any excess dirt. They worked to a certain extent. The nose strip (which I have been using either on my forehead or chin) works a lot better than the strip designed for your forehead, which doesn't seem to pick up much at all. As I already take care of my skin quite well, I feel these strips work better for those who don't or don't have time to take of their skin.

I've dried other pore strips before that claim to remove blackheads but don't. To use you simply wet your nose, chin, forehead slightly then apply the strip. Press down firmly and wait until the strip turns hard. It becomes like paper machete. Pull away gently and you can see what's been taken out. I continue to use these regularly but I can't help but wonder is the dirt and oil just filling up in the open pores all over again? :/

I found them so easy to use and the result was worthwhile. The sensation of pulling the strips off was a bit weird but not painful at all. I don't think I would purchase the combo pack again just because my nose is the only blackhead prone section really and it wasn't really needed on my chin or forehead but I did it anyway. But it would be ideal for those who have blackhead affected areas in 2 places!

Rated 5 out of 5 by chari01 from Combo Pore Strips I have purchased the combo pack before but because the chin strips did hardly anything I just purchase the nose strips now. This is a handy product. It does clear clogged pores very effectively for me, when used properly. I recommend washing your face/nose with warm water first to open up the pores. then keep your nose wet while applying the strip. I usually allow at least 20 minutes to dry completely, then peel off very slowly from the outer edges to the centre. I find this the most effective method.

I have extremely difficult skin to work with (Dry, Sensitive and prone to blackheads) and find that most blackhead/pore removal washes make me break out like no one's business, so I can't use them! I was on the hunt for something that would work for me and came across these strips at my local Priceline. I love them because once removed, you can see they've worked because all the nasties get pulled from your skin and end up where they're supposed to be...off you're face!
