Directions For Use

Just cleanse, apply and let it soak in!

Cleanse your skin as usual – morning and/or evening
Apply 2-3 drops of Vitamin B3 Blemish Rescue Serum to blemish prone or effected areas on your face and neck and massage them in.
Apply your favourite moisturisers and make-up as usual.

Formulated with Niacinamide 5%, Pollustop 3%, Zinc-PCA 1%, this oil-free serum helps reduce acne & sebum build-up and maintains clear skin. It also forms an invisible, breathable shield to protect the skin from all the environmental stressors. This serum was quite enjoyed by my teen. The serum is absorbed beautifully by the skin. Does not leave the skin tacky. It has no fragrance. It has definitely reduced the pimples and is helping the skin heal. Reduces the inflammation and redness too! A little bit is required so the bottle is going to last for quite some time. Plus, Boost Lab serums are quite affordable too!

I recently purchased this product on beauty heaven with my rewards, I am really happy with this product as I had specially ordered this product for my recent break out, it took a while( about 3 weeks) to see the results but got my acne away. The product comes in a dropper bottle and the liquid is clear and a little sticky although when you apply, it instantly soaks into the skin. I always applied it at night so the product would work while I sleep, I used the Vaseline jack and applied Vaseline over it to lock in the product. Highly recommend this product

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kamy from Excellent serum I have been using the Vitamin B3 Blemish Rescue Serum for 1.5 weeks now and i have already noticed that my face is no longer red like it use to be. I use to have redness around my cheeks. My skin looks calmer and healthier. This serum absorps really quickly into the skin and does not make my skin feel oily at all. I apply day and night after toning. You only need a few drops so it does go a long way. After using the serum i apply my normal moisturiser and makeup when required. I love that it contains vitamin B3. I can also say that my skin has had no bad reaction at all to this product. I would definitely recommend this serum to anyone who has any blemishes, redness on the face and also people who needs a boost of hydration on their face. I will continue to use this serum.

Rated 4 out of 5 by robertaschu from good for day-time use I have tried Boost Lab Blemish Rescue Serum for a few weeks now. Firstly the list of ingredients is very appealing as it does not contain any chemicals. It has got zinc and vitamin B which sound good for hydration. You need quite a lot of serum to really cover the entire face (more than just a few drops) which may not be a bad thing, it means that it is more concentrated. This serum absorbs really quickly into the skin and does not make my skin feel oily at all. I have been applying during the day as it does not give that oily/shiny look to the face, it blends in. The skin looks and feel good. The product says it has a "pollution screen" which is very appealing for a day-time use product. In terms of blemish, I don't think the product make any difference in improving existing blemishes but maybe it prevents further blemish.

I was advised by BoostLab to use the two products every other day and alternating. I have been doing it for past few weeks and loving it! My skin is acne proned and combination type. The mixed dry and oily type of skin is hard to manage especially when it’s acne proned also. I often have hyperpigmentation from old acne and other times just general dullness. The serum comes in a glass bottle with squeeze lid and glass dropper. It’s great for hygiene and really looks good in the bathroom. Very easy to use, no fragrance that I can tell and my skin just absorbs it quickly. My skin always feels nicer the next morning. I cannot tell if it has stopped me from getting new acne but I think it helps in moving existing ones along.

It has significantly reduced my blemishes and helped improve the texture of my skin. My pores seem less noticeable after using this every evening for the last month. Feels nice and light on my skin and absorbs really well. It dries out imperfections but not overly dring over the whole face. Good formula and great affordable price for the amount of serum in the bottle. I would highly recommend to anyone who has troubled skin or blemish prone and would life an effective treatment that isn't too expensive. I found that just using on the affected areas is sufficient as no need to apply over entire face. I love how the packaging is so clear and concise and makes it easy to read what each serum is for. Dropper bottle is really handy for easy dispersing and minimise product waste.

My pores definitely appear smaller and my blemishes have reduced and in some areas completely disappeared. It has a lovely feel to it and it's not too think or too watery. You don't need much for each application, a few drops will spread over your entire face. It is super lightweight but has a texture that feels like it covers the skin. It is non-irritating and will dry out those undesirable blemishes. I use it daily concentrating on isolated areas where my blemishes seem to pop out. However since using this serum my blemishes have not been as frequent and definitely not as large. I feel it relaxes my skin and also offers hydration and a smoothing effect. I use it nearly every day in the morning before applying my daily moisturiser and makeup. It acts are a great base.

Rated 3 out of 5 by jupiter from 10% Niacinamide + 1% Zinc PCA Boost Lab produces a nice range of serums that are easy to incorporate into your routine - they are gentle and don't conflict with one another so you can mix and match. This particular serum targets those who suffer from blemishes. It is housed in their usual glass bottle with a dropper with a white and orange label, and is fragrance-free. At first glance, the formula is very very similar to The Ordinary's Niacinamide + Zinc serum, containing 10% Niacinamide + 1% Zinc PCA. Boost Lab's serum also an additional ingredient 'Glycofilm / Pollustop' which a combination of Biosaccharide gum-4 and 1,2-hexanediol. It is supposed to form a film on the skin to protect against enviromental aggressors. The serum is very light and absorbs almost instantly. It doesn't irritate my skin and dries matte. I like that it is fragrance-free. There's zero tackiness and I find that it doesn't pill under other products. I find that it does control excessive oil on my combination skin. I don't have blemishes often so I can't comment on that. At full price, this is about three times the price of The Ordinary's niacinamide serum. The two are really similar and I personally don't think Boost Lab's version is different enough to warrant the price difference. I think they could have done something extra, for example adding centella asiatica or some other soothing ingredient to help those with blemish-prine skin. Other brands have combined, say 10% niacinamide with bakuchiol or with arbutin to give them that marketing edge. I personally prefer Boost Lab's brightening serum which has 5% niacinamide and 3% Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate and 1% Vit E. I think that is a more interesting offering than this one.
