Kokum Butter — Have you met Kokum Butter? Traditionally used in India as a balm for dry, cracked, rough and calloused skin, Kokum Butter is rich in essential fatty acids. Exciting and enticingly exotic, it has plenty of Vitamin E. Truly enlightening indeed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If I Could Give It A 0 Rating I Would Burt's Bees lip balms are among my favourites and for this lip balm to flaunt claims such as "Ultra Conditioning" and "4 hours of moisturisation" I foolishly purchased it without another thought, hoping that I would love it as much as other Burt's Bees products (my favourite is still the limite edition Peppermint one: I wish that was in the permanent line instead of this Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm honestly. It is much more moisturising as well!), however, I was sorely disappointed. Not only is the scent unpleasant, it is also simultaneously drying and greasy! 4 hours of moisturisation is a bold claim when I'm granted not even 4 seconds of moisturisation! I wouldn't have as much of a problem if this lip balm had simply been marketed as another regular lip balm, but to make such large claims about how moisturising and conditioning this lip balm is, only for it to fall flat on every count? Disappointing beyond belief. I typically carry a Burt's Bees lip balm with me everywhere, but I'm afraid that I won't be reaching for this lip balm ever again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gave up after 2 days Using this lip balm is absolutely terrible. I have an issue where I compulsively pick the skin off of my lips, leaving them raw and bloody. A few days ago I decided I was sick of unattractive and painful lips. I have been using this lip balm for two days now and all it would do is leave them oily and dry. A few hours ago I tried the pomegranate lip balm and my lips have remained mostly moisturized and only having to re-apply every once-in-a-while. Overall, this "Ultra Conditioning" lip balm is a joke

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Great I have the Bees Wax version (the basic one), and it works a charm. Unfortunately I left it behind while on holiday, and had to get one on the run. I decided to try this one as I was sold on the '4 hours' - it is literally the opposite, lasts 5 minutes before I feel like I have to reapply, not sure if its because the formula is thin or what exactly it is, but it's a bit disappointing. Would not recommend, wish I had stuck to the trusty original, or at least read the reviews before purchasing!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Severe reaction My lips were dry and sunburnt so I purchased this product hoping it would help, unfortunately that was not the case. Over the course of the week my lips became so sore and swollen, I kept applying the lip balm not realising I was having a reaction. I even had to see a dr, they were that painful, contenting stinging and burning! It wasn’t until I read other reviews here that I discovered it was perhaps the lip balm causing the problems. I stopped using it immediately, took and antihistamine to help with the reaction and by the next day my lips were beginning to get better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Opposite of conditioning My room-mate and a close friend of mine introduced me to Burt Bees and I was in love with her Vitamin-E and peppermint one (always stole it haha) and I finally decided to buy one of my own. Unfortunately, that one wasn't available and I decided to go for the ultra conditioning one, but super disappointing experience as a first time buyer. EXTREMELY drying, chaps my lips and not very fond of the taste/smell..............

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very drying - do not recommend As others have said, this particular balm made my lips extremely dry and required constant reapplication. Having used the other Burts Bees lip balms for years, I decided to try this when I came across it at my local pharmacy. The results have been very disappointing and I’ve reverted back to my usual coconut & pear which requires minimal applications.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome as a travel lip buddy! I use this particular lip balm only when I travel on holidays, especially good when driving across the country from Perth to NSW and back. Good in planes with constant air conditioning. Lips feel really good, not dry. Does have a tendency to melt if left in hot car though...., cure to this, don’t leave in car!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy I usually buy the vitamin E with peppermint. Using the ultra conditioning lip balm for a few days, my lips feel drier than they did before. This lip balm is oily, it just sits on the skin for a few minutes and then is gone. It does not moisturise at all. Do not buy.
