Great for Sensitive skin
I have been using this moisturiser for over 7 years and it’s great for my skin. I prefer to use it after a shower as it works best and really keeps my skin moisturised. When I apply it to my face I make sure I let it absorb into my skin especially on my face before applying makeup. I find it can be slightly greasy on my nose and forehead sometimes I have to pat a tissue over my face just to get the residue off but it is truly amazing for dry sensitive skin. I also love that I can use it on my 3yr old daughters skin it’s gentle and keeps her skin hydrated.

good for sensitive skin
I don't really love this moisturiser, as I don't feel it *does* anything... Based off the ingredients, I don't think it's really benefiting my skin at all. I find it sits on top of my combination skin and doesn't really sink in.
THAT SAID... when I recently had an allergic reaction to actives in my other skincare, and my skin couldn't handle anything, having this in the cupboard was a lifesaver. I knew I could put on this moisturiser without flaring up or irritating my skin further. My husband has inflammatory eczema and this is all he can use safely.

Takes a While to Absorb
I actually bought this for my daughter who has sensitive skin but I thought I'd try it myself to see how well it moisturised (as I also suffer from sensitive skin at times). It is a medium thickness cream that has no discernible scent to me. The one thing I didn't like about it is that it takes forever to absorb. It sits like a layer on the skin and you really have to rub and rub before it sinks in. It is gentle on the skin and does make skin soft. The hydrating effect lasts all day too. So all in all it's not a bad moisturiser but not my fave.

Keeps my skin soft and supple
This is a great moisturising lotion for the body. It is lightweight and absorbs fast leaving my skin feeling soft and supple. It love to apply this each night after having a shower. It is also really good for using after shaving my legs as I feel that it soothes the skin and reduces any irritation from shaving. It is also fragrance free and so it doesn't sting the skin at all. I like that it comes in a convenient pump bottle too. It's just a great product that works and I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a fragrance free body lotion.

Nothing special...
I decided to try a small bottle of this to see how it compared to my QV moisturising cream as it was more affordable. I used it as an all over body moisturiser.
It was a thin lotion consistency but quite heavy when applied to the skin. I found that it took quite a while for the moisturiser to sink into my skin and I didn't like the greasy feeling it left on my skin. This is ok for Winter when my skin is drier, but I think it would be quite uncomfortable in Summer.
It doesn't have a strange smell like some fragrance free moisturisers do. It's pretty much scent-less. Which is definitely a bonus for my sensitive skin.
I don't think I will be buying this again. It is a good moisturiser, however I feel that I get slightly better results using the QV moisturiser.

Basic moisturiser that calms dry, itchy skin
This product is recommended by dermatologists for sensitive, irritated skin. It is quite thick and would suit dry facial skin better, though it can also be applied to the body. It is great for the times when you are suffering from dry, flaky or itchy skin, but not so good if your skin leans towards the oily spectrum. It's better for night time, as it's not something that can be layered easily under make-up, especially since you'd need another sun protection product as it doesn't contain SPF.
As a facial moisturiser it doesn't really have any useful active ingredients, when other brands such as QV are incorporating ceramides and Cerave incorporating niacinamide, I feel that Cetaphil is falling behind and I would recommend other brands in preference to this.

an alright product
I bought one of the giant pump bottles of this moisturiser during a sale, years ago and still haven't finished it.<br />When I first purchased it my skin was doing fine and this moisturiser didn't irritate my face or body. My skin has since gotten worse for unrelated reasons and I have stopped using this product on my face, but as a body moisturiser I still really enjoy it.<br />I have never had any issues with it, but it doesn't provide the deep moisturising that my dry skin needs, and as a result, I will not be repurchasing.

Great basic lotion
I like to have one of these big pump bottles (or the QV equivalent) in my bathroom to chuck on after a shower. the pump bottles last me ages and it's a great product.
This is an unscented lotion that isn't too heavy it absorbs fairly quickly so it doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy
I use this as a body lotion but occasionally I will use it as a face moisturiser and haven't had any bad reactions ( I have combination skin)
If you can get the large pump body on sale I find this a great affordable body lotion.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT
Since using this moisturiser my skin has been so soft and the bonus thing is that it doesn't break me out or make my skin oily.<br />This product is amazing, i have always been sceptical to use any new acne free products let alone moisturisers. I gave this a shot and was absolutely amazed. I highly recommend this product to anyone, as you can see the others give it 5 stars as well. A moisturiser is truly a must for every person, as no one wants premature wrinkles and yucky dry skin.<br />I LOVE YOU CETAPHIL.

Been using for years!
I've been using this on my face for years now. My mum always used it and now I do too because it's just such a simple formula that doesn't have anything irritating in it.
I have oily/combination, break-out prone skin and this is just a perfect lightweight moisturizer that doesn't ever make the situation worse!
It's just so simple and easy. I use it on my face both morning and night and use it on my body too. Every time I've branched out to try something new I end up just coming back to this!

Gentle, effective, cheap
I have been using this moisturiser once again after years of disuse and I've found that it gets the job done. It can be suitable for day-wear, but only for cold days, otherwise there will be some shine after an hour or two.
It absorbs pretty quickly and it's the perfect moisturiser for sensitive skin. My skin didn't have any adverse reactions to Cetaphil, which I am very pleased about.
However, making the moisturiser's effectiveness last longer in the bottle is vital to ensuring it delivers results every application. I've discovered that keeping it on my normal bathroom shelf exposed to the heat of my showers made the formula a little runny and it diminishes its moisturising properties.
Overall, a cheap quick fix. Not the holy grail of all moisturisers, but it definitely does the job well enough.

All year essential
I have been using cetaphil products for over 5 years now. I have sensitive and dry skin and even the smallest change in weather or new product usage can irritate it easily. I love how basic this is and I know for sure it won't make any skin condition worse than it already is. It is very moisturising and my dry skin loves it. I love this more during winter because it feels too heavy during summers and the skin doesn't absorb making it slightly greasy. However I use this all year round. I also use this on my feet before bed and wear socks and I feel it is the best foot mask. It doesn't have any smell and so it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. I love that this is a very affordable cream and can be used sparingly which I'm guilty of. The pump makes it easy to use and I would recommend this to everyone.

The answer for my skin becoming more sensitive after giving birth!
As some of you may know, after giving birth your body changes. I already had sensitive skin before being pregnant, and after giving birth it's like the sensitivity went up a level...or two.
It had already taken me years (10 of them) to find a routine with the right products, and it was disheartening to have to do that again. It was two years later that I discovered this product and couldn't believe how good it was! I was concerned initially about applying it on my face, but to my surprise it was feels so light yet SO hydrating...and didn't make my face breakout!
It was such a relief to find this product and have continued to use it to this day, I just got back from buying some. If you have sensitive, dry skin and need something that is, feels and even LOOKS hydrating - I highly recommend this product! I love it!

Lasts for ages
I love this product. It moisturise well without being too greasy. It is great for sensitive skin, and is great when used together with other cetaphil products, or other skincare brands. You need less than a pea sized amount to thoroughly moisturise your whole face. So if you are using it just for your face it will last for months. I have not yet used it as a full body moisturiser because it does leave a bit of residue, but as a facial , moisturiser it is great.

I used to used to use this on my face after I had a BHA peel, where the top layers of my skin tightens and peels off.<br />During the process of my skin peeling off my skin would feel sooo uncomfortable, so i would slap this lotion on my face and it would help relieve it. I also had a friend who had flaky dry skin and i gave some of it to my friend in a little container, and not only does she love it, her siblings enjoys it as well.<br />great for the body too

Nice, simple body lotion
This is great for summer. It has a light, fresh texture and really gives the skin a good hit of hydration. It is not heavy enough for my skin in winter as the oil content is not to high, but I love it in the warmer months.
The scent is also light and fresh which also makes it great for use in summer.
It is a little bit pricier than supermarket brands, but not prohibitively expensive. It is also quite easy to get a hold of as it is available at most chemists.

Very moisturising
I've putting this on my skin every night after my shower. If I don't put a moisturiser straight on I find my skin feels a bit irritated, dry and itchy.
I find this moisturising lotion to be lightweight and it absorbs fast leaving no residue behind. It leaves my skin soft.
I also like how it comes in a handy pump bottle and there is no messy lid to take on and off when you have moisturiser on your hands.
I really find that this lotion calms my skin.

i really dont like this<br />i tried this for my face and it made it produce so much oil<br />it is somewhat thicker than what i would have wanted<br />i dont like the packaging as it's quite tacky in my eyes and could be improved<br />no smell to it really<br />decent price point<br />i have oily/acne prone skin and this really did not help<br />i would not recommend it and would not repurchase<br />but this might not be the case for everyone

Very oily
I used this product a while ago in conjunction with the gentle cleanser after seeing great reviews on it. I personally did not like this moisturiser at all. I have combo skin, leaning towards the drier side, and I found that this moisturiser made me so oily! I purchased it in hopes that it would help clear my skin, however it only made it worse. It may work better for someone with dry, non-blemish-prone skin, but for me it just didn't work.

A great everyday moisturiser
I use this after I have my daily shower to lock moisture into my skin. A great product to use if you are a frequent hand washer and this causes you dryness. I won't give it 5 stars because it does leave a shinny residue, but this is only really noticeable if used on your face. Overall if you have sensitive skin and are in need of a non-fragranced, non-Comedogenic moisturizer, you can't go wrong with this. The price is certainly right!

Excellent for those with sensitive skin
I recently purchased a 1L bottle of this Cetaphil Moisterising Lotion for a bargain $14.99, perfect for the whole family. My skin has become more sensitive and dry over the years and now I often look for body lotions that are fragrance free and formulated for dry/sensitive/itchy skin. I love this body lotion which comes in a handy pump bottle that's easy to use and dispense. Unlike the Moisterising Cream which is a lot thicker and slightly greasy, this lotion is a runny light consistency that's non-greasy/sticky, perfect for the hotter summer months. It applies easily and absorbs quickly into the skin. I have been using this daily for the past 2-3 weeks and find it's moisterisng enough for my dry/itchy winter skin. My skin feels soft and hydrated and I haven't had any issues with irritation and dryness. Definitely a great body lotion that I will repurchase.

Simple and hydrating, nothing fancy.
My skin is very prone to acne and i did not want a moisturiser that would break me out. After looking at around five types of moisturisers in the chemist, i decided to try Cetaphil. It claims to provide light hydration for everyday use, to be non-comedogenic, fragrance free and that it is dermatologist recommended. It sounded like the perfect moisturiser for me and the results have made me want to buy this moisturiser again.

Thick and oily, but good for sensitive skin
I have sensitive eczema prone skin. Overall this is a decent moisturiser and does the job well. If you have cracked and flaking skin, it will be noticeably smoother and softer the next day if you apply liberally and massage it in well. However, the formula is thick and will feel tacky even after massaging.
There is no added fragrance but the chemical scent is very light. Smells ok enough to put on my sensitive skin.

affordable but alright
So this moisturising lotion is quite affordable. A little goes a long way, and it also doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. It's really light, and a little goes a long way. I don't feel like it leaves a gross film on my face and it also doesn't clog my pores either. It leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. Scent isn't strong and so it's not overpowering. Can use it over the whole body as it works really well.

Very moisturising
I have dry sensitive skin on my face and normal skin on my body. I use this lotion on both face and body. It is great. It has no scent, it is light and yet very moisturising. I love how my skin feels after I apply this moisturiser. It sinks right into my skin, binds water to skin, and doesn't leave any greasy residue, just perfectly moisturised skin. I didn't have any breakouts while using this product.

Great for people with problem skin
I was recommended this moisturizer by my dermatologist a few years ago and I love it. I have lost count of how many times I have repurchased it.
It's lightweight and non greasy so works a treat on my oily skin. I also have sensitive skin and have never suffer any sort of reaction from it.
The bottle size is great and lasts such a long time, a little of this product goes a long way, that's for sure.

Ruined a great product
The old formula moisturiser was incredible, I've used it for years for my sensitive acne-prone skin. The new formula contains niacinamide which causes a sunburn-like reaction across my whole face (I've since tried multiple products with niacinamide and same reaction with all). Really disappointing, cetaphil used to be the best option for sensitive skin but it seems to no longer be the case.

Great staple moisturiser
This moisturiser is great for those who have sensitive skin and are looking for a basic moisturiser to use. It can be used all over the body or on the face. It feels light weight on the skin and doesn't leave a greasy feeling unlike other moisturisers may do. I've used this on my acne prone skin as a facial moisturiser and it didn't clog my pores but provided sufficient moisture to my skin

YES YES YES!!!! I LOVED this product, I have never had much luck finding a moisturiser that I like. My friend who has some skin problems recommended me this and I have not gone a day without using this and it is the only moisturiser I use. It is so light and the smallest bit goes a long way. It has NO smell and is such a refreshing relief from many moisturisers available.
