Not powerful enough
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nowadays I am not a regular mouthwash user. I used to use Listerine daily, which is my preferred brand, but I use it now only a few times a week if I feel I am in need of a freshen up. A bottle of Plax was in a sample kit given to me by my dentist.
The taste is minty and slightly underwhelming. I enjoy the 'sting' of mouth washes, which this one does not have, so for me this one doesn't give me that clean feeling - though I think in terms of oral hygiene, being in pain from a mouthwash is not a sign it is working properly! I didn't feel as though my mouth was healthier than other brands after using this. I think it is a good choice in a pinch if there is nothing else, but I wouldnt buy this after trying the sample.

For green tea lovers!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely adore green tea. In fact I have a cup right next to me at the moment. I purchased this immediately when I spotted it at the supermarket. Needless to say I was not disappointed. It did have a refreshing green tea taste. I actually thought it tasted quite nice/pleasant - better than the burning alcohol ones. Cleans really well and the aftertaste is not offensive at all. Very cooling. I would recommend this if you're a green tea lover!

Yummo Spearmint Aftertaste!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this in Freshmint which is the green coloured one. It is alcohol free and is gentle on my cheeks when I swish with it. It doesn't have that biting burning feeling that mouthwashes used to have. I like this one a lot and find it really gives me confidence with how fresh my breath is. After swishing with this for 30 seconds I find that my mouth has a delicious spearmint-like aftertaste to it. I love that! My favourite mint is spearmint!!

Works and no burn
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started my mouthwash history with Listerine and I had to use that diluted because it burned my mouth so much!!! I don't know how they say that in the ads on tv.
Anyway, I bought this mouthwash a couple of times and I like the mint flavour the best. I tried the pink berry which was too fruity for me. The mint was mild enough to use and I didn't have any burn or stinging and I didn't dilute it!!

A lighter way to mouthwash
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mouthwash is great for any person who has a sensitivity to regular mint mouthwash or for someone who doesn't particularly enjoy the taste and strength of regular mouthwash. It has a very light refreshing taste and is good for when you don't want that overpowering minty taste. Great for use morning and night and will leave your mouth feeling fresh all day and all night long. A well priced product.

No sting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have hated using mouthwashes my whole life due to the stinging and burning feeling in my mouth. However for the past year or two I’ve switched to Colgate plax mint after my husband did the shopping and purchased it one time.
This is the best mouth wash ever!!! It has a great minty taste, but there is no awful stinging or burning. It’s way to use and works as it should.

Gentle - No Burning & Delicious Taste!!

A lot of mouthwashes in the past I couldn't use because they made my cheeks feel like they were burning - but this one is not like that! Favourite mouthwash in the world
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use Plax mint and I was delightef to get a sample of the fresh tea flavour. I love green tea anything (lollies, ice cream, you name it) and this Plax is not an exception. It does not taste exactly like green tea but given it needs active mouthwash ingredients I think it has doen a decent job. No burning sensation and cleanses well . I feel very fresh and it is a pleasant to use!

Horrible

True, it is cheaper and it doesn't burn like Listerine.....but I'll take the Listerine burning any day instead of the crappy taste Colgate Plax leaves in my mouth

Refresh your mouth with Colgate

Colgate Plax, good thing it isn't like that, you feel it cleaning as you gaggle the mouthwash. Cleaning between the teeth and reaching places you cannot get to with a basic toothbrush. Mouthwash- without the burning sensation!

Great Mouthwash.

Fresh Clean Feeling.

I love that it is Alcohol free unlike some other mouth washes on the market that I have tried, is clinically tested by Dentists and also lasts for 12 hours.

Use the cup at the top of the bottle to pour the product into and then rinse. It comes in a good size bottle 500ml. It left my mouth feeling fresh and refreshed. It comes in peppermint and freshmint flavors.

I did find whilst using it that it had an unusual effect in my mouth, it tastes quite sweet and feels like a film of sugar coated the inside of my mouth. So I tend to rinse afterwards. But it does work and is good value, so I certainly wouldnt knock that back.

it's no Listerine

Listerine is much stronger and seems to do the job much better than this. Plax just seems weak and watery in comparison. Great to use, no mouth burn
This is a very pleasant tasting mouthwash that you can keep in your mouth for the required couple of minutes without experiencing the classic mouth burn that alcohol based mouthwashes generally delivered. I find a little does the job quite well. Nothing negative re this product in my experience to date.

It doesn't burn!
