Directions For Use

Adult usage.

Brush thoroughly at least twice a day or as directed by your dental professional. Do not swallow. Rinse with a small amount of water. Not recommended for children 6 years or less. Colgate recommends specially formulated Colgate children's toothpaste. - Up to 12 hours of protection against bacteria with 4 weeks continuous use.

Store below 30°C.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before trialling the Colgate Total Charcoal Deep Clean I used Colgate Total Tartar Control which ptovides an excellent clean and feel, and the Charcoal Deep Clean didn’t initially feel as clean. However, the clean taste did appear to last longer. The Charcoal Deep Clean also recommends using for 14 days for best results, which I haven’t yet achieved. Based on the current long lasting clean taste I will keep using it to see how it performs after 14 days. If it performs even better than it currently does I will strongly consider switching to the Charcoal Deep Clean as my go too toothpaste.

It foams up really well while brushing (I use a manual toothbrush) and leaves me mouth feeling really clean. It has a pleasant fresh minty taste, but it’s not overpowering or too strong. I am not sure if the charcoal component is meant to have a whitening effect, but I am yet to notice any difference in that department though it has only been a week of use. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that I prefer natural toothpastes, but as far as not natural ones go, this is great. Overall I would recommend,

The freshness is long lasting. The colour was a little surprising. I had expected it to be a little darker, or less translucent. The consistency is a little runnier than I like, especially for using with an electric toothbrush. My teeth feel clean, but I haven’t really noticed a change in colour or a reduction in staining over time so I’m not sure it ticks the whitening box. A good general or family toothpaste- depending on price point.

The tube is large with a flip top lid which makes for easy opening and closing with no mess around the rim of the lid. It was initially odd to see the toothpaste as black as I have not previously tried a charcoal toothpaste. The consistency is a gel so if you are used to a paste this can be an interesting chnage. The product has a pleasant taste and gave a very deep clean, my tooth feel smooth and it least a fresh mint taste in the mouth. I feel that after a week of use I can see a difference in the brightness of my teeth. Overall a really good product

It becomes quite foamy when brushing. I used a standard toothbrush with this product and after brushing my teeth felt really clean. I quite often feel I need to brush in the middle of the day just to freshen my mouth but didn't really need to after using this toothpaste. My teeth and mouth even felt quite clean when I woke up in the mornings. The packaging is quite attractive and the product itself is easy to use - the toothpaste is a nice consistency. I like it and would purchase it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical before trying this product as I have heard mixed reviews about charcoal toothpastes however I was pleasantly surprised! The toothpaste is initially black in colour however once you start brushing that colour disappears. I found that this toothpaste left my mouth extremely clean and fresh for several hours after use. The tube was a good size with plenty of product inside! My partner always refused to use charcoal toothpastes however he gave this Colgate one a shot and he really enjoyed it! I would definitely purchase again!!
