At nappy change, remove wet and soiled nappy and clean area thoroughly. Apply QV Baby Barrier Cream to affected skin at every nappy change. Pay particular attention to ensure application to the folds of the baby's skin.

Could give it a miss
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't that big a fan of the QV Barrier Cream. The smell is similar to their Moisturizing Cream which kind of smells like some sort of glue and I wasn't that keen on that. But it's not that strong so it's not too bad.
When you're putting it on, it doesn't spread that easily or nicely. So with a squirming baby, I've had a few times where it kind of got everywhere since it took that little bit of extra time to get it to spread around.
Compared to other barrier creams I've used, I find it wasn't as effective in preventing nappy rash or helping it once the skin is irritated.

The best barrier cream on the market
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A barrier cream that you can actually get out of the tube! I thought no way is it this easy to get out but it is! And once you actually manage to get it out of the tube other creams can be an absolute nightmare to actually rub on but not this one!
It has such good coverage of their little bottoms, it’s easy to spread around and it actually works!
Since using the QV baby bum cream my baby’s nappy rash is non existent, it has been an absolute game changer.
10/10 will always reccommend this one to all the mums I know, and it is being added to new baby baskets from now on.

Such a great multi use product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't have a baby but received this to try out. In the winter and colder months, I get very dry skin on my face and legs to the point where regardless of what I use, it gets sore to where it feels like I have rubbed my skin raw with a physical exfoliant. I applied this barrier cream by itself at night and after a few days, the raw feeling went away and my skin started to feel hydrated and more normal than dry again. It does leave a white cast because of how thick it is but if you are using it at night or on a baby, it really doesn't matter. Such a great multi use product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as part of a trial but am actually familiar with the product. So I can say with confidence that I love this nappy cream; and that in comparison to other nappy creams on the market, this is definitely my favourite.
I never realised it could help with facial rashes/heat rash etc though and when I did apply it on bub's face, didn't really notice a difference. so I'm not sure how effective it is in that regard...
However, the texture is great - it is soft/smooth/spreads easily and thick.
I also found it effective for redness/nappy rash.
10/10 recommend.

Great barrier cream
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I started using this product for my daughter, she had a nappy rash and a redness in the area. I used the cream every evening after her shower, and the redness was gone after a few days. It really stands out from the other nappy barrier creams. It feels very soft and smooth, is very light and easy to apply as it spreads easily and you only need a very small amount of it. It seems to be perfect for sensitive skin as it feels gentle, does not sting and is not irritating like many other creams. The package is great size and it smells lovely too. This amazing barrier cream is definitely a product like no other.

I’ve tried many barrier creams for both of my toddlers when they were babies even as bigger a toddler’s but the Qv Barrier Cream I still use it now when they get a rash. They both have pretty good skin that doesn’t tend to flare up but when they did have a happy rash or a rash on their cheek I would often apply thickly at night after their baths then would not be washed off until the morning allowing the barrier cream to work.
I found the cream to respond very well to both of my children’s skin as quickly too. I would highly recommend this barrier cream to everyone with babies or toddlers needing a great barrier cream.

Smooth as a baby bum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No nasty chemicals that may hurt my baby's skin! I was surprised to see a massive rash on my bub's bum just the other week & I got a little worried because it was super reddish. I tried using this product and I was happy that it has alleviated the rash after 48 hours!
The soothing, rich formula helped protect bub’s delicate skin against nappy rash returning. It formed a barrier that shields bub’s skin from water and other nappy particles.
QV Baby Barrier Cream’s non-sticky, non-greasy, low-irritant formulation and moisturising base is great to help to rehydrate skin and prevent moisture loss from bub’s soft bum.

This baby barrier cream has been so good on my babies skin i would highly recommend it! A little goes a long way, easy to open and apply. The tube makes it easy to get out every last bit so there is no wasting of the product. When applied, it did not have a strong scent and dlwas not greasy however left a moisturised barrier layer which seemed to soothe until the next nappy change. Redness appeared to be minimised. This was also great for the redness on my babies skin between folds of skin which occurs regularly. It helped to keep the area moisturised and non abrasive therefore reduced redness

Works Wonders!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found QV Baby Barrier Cream to be a very soothing, effective, fragrance free, colour free, non greasy yet hydrating for both my little one's very delicate & sensitive skin. Especially impactful for my 2-year old's eczema condition. I have used many other products before for her to deal with bad nappy rashes due to eczema flare, but now I'm not looking for anything other than QV. I use it for them before bed every night, helps with keeping rashes away during long nights in night dippers, when you are not looking to change too many of them. It works wonders for me :)

Very impressed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Teething has really done a number on our poor little one and the barrier cream was amazing. The nappy rash happened very quickly and caused a lot of discomfort to my 1 year old. My toddler was crying from a sore bottom after a teething poo and not only did it stop the next round hurting and crying, protecting so well. It also helped give the skin a chance to calm and was better the next day. Initially I wasn’t sure if this was up to the job as the cream is like only a bit thicker than a moisturiser but I was thoroughly impressed. The cream has no fragrance, another bonus as well as the zinc oxide to protect and heal.

Great cream!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic baby rash cream. My son gets a bit of redness after wearing a nappy the entire day. I always put it on at night, in the morning the redness always clears up. Doesn't have a strong smell and it seems quite calming. Sometimes my son complains when I put on other major rash creams, I'm not sure if it's because it stings or be doesn't like the smell but he doesn't have a problem with this one.
I have also heard zinc oxide (the ingredient in QV baby barrier cream) is great to use for adults for skin slugging in winter. I haven't tried it yet but when the weather gets colder and drier I will try use it for that.

Hydrates and protects
My toddler has sensitive skin and he tends to get rashes on his face and this cream relieves that itchy associated with the rash. I also love using it during nappy changes (a separate tube of course) to protect his sensitive delicate skin from nappy rash. It creates a barrier on the skin and now he rarely gets a red nappy rash or hot rash from being in a nappy. It isn't sticky or oily and absorbs quite quickly. The cream is also ph balances and moisturises the skin at the same time. It comes in a 125g tube in a box and cost around $11 depending on where you purchase it from. I just buy mine when I'm at the chemist.

Fantastic soothing cream

This is a perfect non greasy cream that acts as a barrier that feels comfortable and soothing on the skin.
Great for nappy rash and smooths and protects the skin, also helps keep skin moist and hydrated.
You can use this every nappy change or once a day depending on baby’s skin condition.
Recommend to use if nappy rash is present or not as it will prevent and protect the little one.

Gentle barrier that works
I purchased the QV Baby Barrier Cream for myself as I've been experiencing some skin issues due to sensitivity and reactions from products. As this cream is designed for infants, I felt safe that I would not react to it. The barrier cream has been a lifesaver for my chafing due to sports as well. The soft, thick cream applies easily and has a neutral but pleasant smell. A little product goes a long way and the easy to squeeze tube helps to get the right amount of product. Love it.

Gentle and lightweight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the QV Baby Barrier cream as part of a trial and found this product to be gentle on babys skin and does the job nicely. I have a teething baby at the moment and the cream has worked wonders keeping the dreaded nappy rash at bay. The formula is not as thick as what I am use to and I found that the cream doesn't leave a residue in the skin folds, it must either soak in or rub off on the nappy, so may need to be reapplied during the night for babies that are prone to nappy rash. A little goes a long way with this cream and I will continue to use.

Smooth and prevents nappy rash

I apply to my children's bottom at each nappy change and this has prevented any events of a nappy rash. It spreads very easily and is not stiff like other barrier creams on the market. It really prevents any irritation and forms a barrier from the skin and the nappy, chemicals, detergents, urine and poo. Safe to use on kids and babies as well as adults. It's definitely a nice texture and non greasy or sticky so can wipe off easily. Comes in a nice compact tube which can be carried around in a handbag.

Trusty barrier cream for new baby skin!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having just had my first baby and going through a crisp winter, I’m loving QV products for his dry skin! This barrier cream is great for his nappy rash (and preventing it), I lather a good thick amount on at each change and it usually stays on until the next one, but I also put it on his cheeks and lips when we are heading out into the cold or the wind and find it really protects them from getting chaffed. Nice and thick and creamy as a good barrier cream should be, stays on between changes etc. Always feel confident in this brand and this product is no exception. Affordable at around $10 and easy to find in chemists or Priceline.

Done wonders
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My twins often get minor nappy rash and I have always used Sudocream as my go to nappy cream. I’ve found that using the QV Barrier Cream, it’s offered that needed barrier but has also kept the area well moisturised. It has helped clear up any nappy rash and redness that has developed very quickly. Would definitely recommend and this will now be my go to for nappy barrier cream and will feel comfortable to use it as an every day product. I’ve recommended this cream to my sisters as have also found it to be more gentler on the skin than sudocream.

Compared to other creams on the market, QV Baby Barrier Cream has a thinner consistency making application much easier – especially with a wriggling child! The cream is easily dispensed from the tube and can be applied without feeling sticky or greasy and is great to chuck in your nappy bag when you’re on the go. It works well to protect against nappy rash and soothe nappy rash when it does occur. The QV Baby Barrier Cream has a moisturising base, so it helps hydrate bubs skin and prevent moisture loss. It is a decent price, stops nappy rash, washes out of fabric without stains and most importantly, sticks to skin – even when it's wet!

The QV Baby range is suitable for use with very dry, eczema-prone baby skin.

Great barrier cream for all ages !

Firstly I love the packaging of this product, I found it great! Great size, not too small but not too large or bulky! The packaging was very cute too! The consistency of the product was great and good packaging for a potentially messy product!
I used this on my dry skin and areas of chaffing and found it was so beneficial particularly where my my skin in winter is more at risk of breaking down!
I will continue to use this for myself and as a baby sitter, will be recommending this to the families I baby sit!

Effective for my baby diaper rash due to long traveling time with diaper on. Definitely will recommend and continue using this barrier cream product. It's not too sticky and has a good protective texture. The diaper cream is good and easy to apply. The cream is non-sticky yet able create a thin layer of protection over the bum. It is also easy to wash off. Best of all it soothe my daughtrer's diaper rash and he looks comfortable after every diaper change.

I don’t feel like this product really did too much, I used this overnight for a while pre-emotively and still there were times my son had nappy rash.
I feel there are better products out there which I would prefer to use over this one unfortunately.

Good but not my favourite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a good barrier cream, especially for sensitive skin. However it is much thinner than most making it much easier to apply but I don’t feel it holds out as long. You will need to reapply ant each nappy change and will need to make this frequent if trying to clear an rash. Also if the rash is extra raw I don’t feel like it clears it as quickly.
I would recommend this product for those seeking something a little less harsh on the skin. Overall a good cream, but not the best on the market! Still love the QV brand overall

A good product, easy to use and high in zinc oxide
This barrier cream is a great nappy cream being gentle and easy to use.
While it is a lot like others on the market (very familiar to the Sudocreme product, etc) it is a little bit runny (so not too thick) but importantly, it is still high in zinc oxide which saves from nappy rash and has no telltale fragrance to irritate sensitive skins.
Interestingly, this product can be used for infant facial rash, heat rash and for chafing, and it is reassuring that it was developed by a hospital - the Queen Victoria Hospital.
A good reliable product, great for nappies and other skin irritations.
