This product has ceramides, niacinamide and lactic acid if I'm correct which were the major reasons why I purchased it. What I really don't like about this product is that it does not lather or foam at all, making it hard to use with a lofa or even your bare hands. The scent is also weird, but I didn't buy it for the scent. Because it does not lather and becuase this makes showering unpleasant, I only used this product twice before I returned the original QV gentle wash.

My hand eczema hasn't flared up in two weeks, and I wash my hands more than five times a day for 20 seconds each time. It smells a little weird but it is not very noticeable (unless you sniff it for science). The texture is oily before rinsing, spreads quickly, and it does not bubble/foam (good for sensitive/allergy skin). When rinsing your skin will feel very soft and supple. The liquid is white but turns clear when spread. It also cleanses your face, even zinc sunscreens is easily washed off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Candyfairy from Skin Soothing I was at a loss with my 3rd bub who suffered from the most severe Eczema up until he was about one. After that is settled thankfully! During that first year though I tried so many products to stop the itching. This product is amazing at calming down the redness and it has made his skin less dry and irritated. The pump bottle is easy to use with a wriggley kid in the bath so you can get the product out quickly with one hand and the bottle is big and lasts a long time. Highly Recommend this if you have really dry, red, irritated skin and want some relief. It isn't a miracle cure, but it does help!

This is a great product for anyone wanting a light weight, fragrance free was that can be used daily by the whole family. It is gentle on the skin and easy to apply. The 500ml pump action bottle is user friendly and is great for taking away with you or camping. Gentle on the skin and a little goes a long way. This bottle will last you awhile. perfect for the whole family, applied on a washer or loofah and in the shower or bath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by pattii from First aid for very dry skin Each winter my skin gets very dry and I need to moisturise more frequently and use non - drying shower gels etc. Those solutions have always been a bit 'hit and miss' and I usually still have issues with uncomfortable skin; however a couple of weeks ago my skin was particularly dry and very uncomfortably itchy to the point where I was having trouble falling asleep. A chemist recommended QV Intensive with ceramides Body Wash and from the first shower I felt relief; with subsequent showers my skin felt ever more comfortable. I've now been using it once a day for almost 2 weeks and my skin is soft and supple and the rashes I had from scratching at itchy skin have all cleared up. This product is a little expensive but it's worth every cent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mserin23 from QV BODY WASH I love this product. My kids have sensitive skin and i love the QV brand for them and this product is no different. It's great for their sensitive skin. No strong scent or fragrance and it doesn't upset their skin at all. It can leave a film in the bath if a lot it is applied. I use it and then just quickly rinse off the skin before the end of the bath . I find it doesn't dry out my children's skin either which is amazing. Great product and has been a lifesaver especially in winter when our skin is more dry . Highly recommend this product.

QV Skincare Intensive with Ceramides Hydrating Body Wash is great for their skin. It doesn't irritate their skin. It does however soothe their sensitive skin leaving it calm and hydrated. I like that it comes in a handy pump bottle so they can have one on the ledge in their shower and easily pump it onto their loofahs or hands. I would highly recommend this for sensitive skin that's prone to irritation.
