Fixomull Stretch is a wide area adhesive tape which is especially suitable for use on frequently mobile and highly contoured parts of the body. It is made from white, stretchable, non-woven polyester dressing sheet coated with skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive on quick-release backing paper. The adhesive ensures the dressing is firmly secured on all sides and cannot slip or become detached.
Fixomull Stretch is permeable to moisture and air. It is also radiotransparent, so it does not need to be removed for either radiotherapy or X-ray examinations. Fixomull Stretch can be cut to the required size, which means it can be tailored to protect the entire wound dressing against contamination. It also eliminates unnecessary wastage.

Good value via this supplierI use this product for strapping support around an old torn ligament injury in one of my toes. It is available through most chemists, but the price can be anything from $5 up per box more expensive than via Pharmacy Online. It is cheaper from Pharmacy Online even after adding postage.
The only downside to the product (not pharmacy online) is that there is some inconsistency between different boxes - the adhesive covers are sometimes off-centre, so cutting the strip lengthwise (to make it smaller and easier strap around toes, etc) does not create a pair of even straps.

Excellent Post Op Stretch TapePrescribed by my Orthopaedic surgeon for Post Surgery Bunion Surgery. First fitted at 2 weeks post op in Dr's rooms with physical instruction. Easy to cut to size, non skin irritating & remained in place for about 3 days at a time, even when I could shower without plastic leg protectors. Takes a few goes to learn how to place & stretch without scrunching it up on itself. Chemist Direct only local pharmacy to have supplies at the time I needed it. Also found a Video on YouTube to brush up my application technique. Placing on both feet my roll lasted about 8 weeks.

Blister PreventionI have been using this product for years because it is the best thing I have found to prevent blisters. Before I start a hike I tape up all the toes that tend to blister and I walk pain free. I have walked for up to 9 days in all sorts of conditions and I only get blisters if I forget to tape up.
