It is useful as a laxative in providing relief from constipation, and can also be bowel evacuant for a variety of diagnostic, surgical and therapeutic indications. Fleet Enema provides cleansing action and induces complete emptying of the left colon usually in 2 to 5 minutes.
Dibasic sodium phosphate and monobasic sodium phosphate are poorly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and retain water in the lumen of the intestine. When administered rectally as an enema, they produce a watery evacuation of the bowel.

Only thing that worked
I have been suffering from impaction from late Dec - Mar. The hospital told me to take movicol and coloxyl with senna. I did this religiously but all it did was flush through the newer stomach contents. I used suppository and miralax enema for quick relief but neither resolved the issue. A friend recommended this, I used 3 over 3 nights and I am impact free. Thank you. Absolutely recommended. I am back to normal.

Worth buying
I saw another review with a similar situation. I have had chronic constipation and impaction for a few years. My gastroenterologist told me to keep using coloxil with senna and movicol. That mainly moved newer waste past the impacted waste. I was carrying around gross stuff for literal years. Anyway. I had little hope for this product, but it worked. !

Does the trick, but can be uncomfortable
I was happy with the final result of using this product, but I found the nozzle to be uncomfortable. The plastic tip was not smooth, there was a rough spot, and the lubrication wasn't sufficient.
This was my first time using an enema so I wasn't sure what to expect.
I was happy with the final result, I definitely felt better after using it, but I think I'll try a different brand if I need to use one again.
