Rated 5 out of 5 by from Healthy, hydrated hair The whole tub costs only $5, great value for money, It is made of 98 natural ingredients, and it smells amazing. I've used it on and off for the past 2 years, happy with the results that I get. My hair feels and looks healthy and less frizzy at least that what I've noticed. It is very hydrating, I only use it on my split ends. I use it as a mask when my hair in need of deep hydration once a month. I'm not a fan of the packaging, I don't like scooping from a tub that's just not practical for me, personally. The hair food line is in my opinion worth the hype. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has dry, frizzy hair and wants to turn that around, should give this ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smelt like real banana The product was well labelled. I could see Garnier Fructis Nourishing Banana Hair Food really well on the label. It's great how you can use it three ways; as a conditioner, as a masque or just leave it in. It's great how it is dermatologically tested. It also has a 98% natural origin formula. The pictures of the bananas on the product made the product seem fresh and more natural. It was very easy to open the lid of the product. The product smelt great like real banana. I used it as a masque in my hair and my hair felt fresh and wonderful afterwards. It made me feel alive and positive. The product was quite inexpensive as well. A great buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nourishing Food for Hair Was lucky enough to receive this in the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty 2021 prize pack and I have only just emptied the product this month! Incredible value for money with 3 in 1 use, and the scent is delightful! Very reminiscent of banana lollies, you can easily imagine you're on a tropical island while washing your hair. I primarily used Banana Hair Food as a conditioner, on my dry, straight hair. As the product is super thick a little goes a long way. It left my hair soft, tangle-free and smelling delicious. I would recommend having a play around with the product to determine if it suits you best as a conditioner or mask.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good stuff i have very long bleach and heat damaged hair, i put this on dry hair and leave for a few hours before washing out and it makes my hair super soft and helps reduce frizz! great product, especially at the price it’s at. Smell is a little strange but not enough to bother me. product doesn’t make my hair greasy or weighed down which is a bonus. i would definitely recommend to anyone with dry or damaged hair, i use this in between olaplex treatments and it makes a world of difference only downside which really isn’t an issue is because the texture is a bit thin it can drip, but i usually put a showercap on to avoid this

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs better packaging I think I would have given this product another star if it was better packaged. The twist lid tub is not practical at all and the tub itself is quite large which is great value for money but it doesn’t sit well on a shelf or fit in a shower caddy. I hated this as a leave in product. It left my hair oily and heavy. But as a mask/conditioner it worked very well. I substituted it for my normal conditioner once per week and noticed the difference, particularly when blow drying! I love the smell of this, its very refreshing! I think this will be in my rotation for a while as a little goes a long, long way.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Left my hair dry I thought I would try this product as I know how wonderful Garnier are at their product smells and blends. I have dry hair and when I saw these lined up at my local Coles at a lower price point I grabbed one. Nourishing banana sounded like it would be great for my hair. Unfortunately it did not nourish my dry hair ( dyed blonde for years now so quite dry ) it actually made it feel dry and tangled. I was looking forward to a mask to replenish so nutrients into my hair. The smell is amazing and I definitely feel it wasn’t too much. The packaging was a nice big tub however hard to navigate in the shower. I wouldn’t but this particular blend again but would be willing to maybe try a different mix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved this! I loved the packaging on this product. It was so easy to store in my drawer. It was well labelled I could see what exactly the product was. The pictures of the bananas looked very appealing. The lid was very easy to open. The product was a nice white colour. I could really smell the banana as well. It was a very good consistency as well, it wasn't too thick or thin. It was so easy to use in my hair. I used it as a hair masque but you could also use it as a leave in or a conditioner. My hair felt nourished and refreshed afterwards. A great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smell is to die for! So if you love the smell of bananas, it goes without saying that you'll love the smell of this. I like that it comes in a large tub (rather than a single use portion). I tend to use it as a leave in mask before I jump in the shower, and depending on how my time is going, I usually leave it in anywhere from 15 minutes to a few hours. My hair is left feeling soft and nourished (though I do feel the aloe vera version is a touch more effective). Nonetheless my hairdresser has told me my hair is very healthy which is something I'm certainly not used to hearing!
