What's the science behind it?

Therapeutic ultrasound refers to sound waves, or energy, applied to the skin creating a vibration that produces a deep heating of the tissue. The Ultralieve PRO device sends sound waves at 1Mhz per second (this equates to 1 million times per second) able to penetrate deep into the tissue to help stimulate and promote healing of the muscles, tendons and ligaments.
