Directions For Use

Fluoride free toothpaste.

Brush thoroughly at least twice a day or as directed by your dental professional. Do not swallow. Rinse with a small amount of water. Smile often.
Children under 6 years of age should have adult supervision and use only a pea-sized amount.
Twist off cap to remove foil seal.
Do not use if safety seal is missing or broken.

Not used to watermelon toothpaste or anything else watermelon flavoured for that matter. It tasted alright and was pleasant enough. I wasn’t too sure how effective a “natural” toothpaste would be. It certainly doesn’t froth up as much as regular toothpastes. It also didn’t give me a fresh mouth clean taste as it didn’t have any minty fresh flavour. I used it twice a day for a week and while my teeth appear clean enough, I prefer a mint and frothy toothpaste. Fluoride free toothpaste, no artificial sweeteners or colours. The packaging was appealing with red and green colouring.

However, the intensity of the flavour seems to rapidly fade during a brushing session which reduces the feeling of freshness given. The toothpaste is also very smooth which seems to also reduce a feeling of freshness. With additional grit, the toothpaste could likely feel like it is giving a fresher, better clean. I found the fluoride-free nature of the toothpaste attractive and felt much better overall using this than all fluoride toothpastes I've tried previously.

When brushing my teeth, I found the toothpaste to be very liquid in the mouth instead of being foamy. It resulted in a few messes sometimes. After one spitting, all the toothpaste was gone from my mouth and I felt the need to put more toothpaste on my toothbrush to be able to finish brushing the rest of my teeth. After I was all done, my teeth felt clean and soft. However, I didn't have that feeling of freshness in my mouth. I liked that the toothpaste tube can stay up, which means that it takes less room on the bench.

I found the watermelon flavour to be nice to start with but did not leave the fresh aftertaste that a minty toothpaste does. It was not a bad aftertaste and I will continue using until it’s finished. I think it would be a great alternative to those that don’t like mint. I just personally prefer mint. It left my teeth feeling clean and soft. However I would prefer that the ingredients explain what the flavour is from rather than just saying flavour.

I've tried a few different flavored toothpastes in the past but found them to be unpleasant in taste by either being too sweet or having strange aftertastes to them. I really enjoyed this Hello Watermelon toothpaste as it was a lovely natural flavor that was fresh and didn't leave a strange aftertaste in my mouth. It did it's job as a toothpaste just fine with the only difference being the taste. I think this would be a great product for people who struggle with the usual mint toothpastes (kids especially). The only downside for me is the price as it's quite an expensive toothpaste.

The product itself really surprised me. I thought I wasn't going to like it as I haven't used any toothpaste that isn't mint flavoured. I was pleasantly surprised by the watermelon flavour. I was also shocked at how bright and white my teeth were after one use. The only thing I missed was the after refreshing minty smell other toothpaste gives you. I did like the product and would certainly recommend it.

I found the flavour (watermelon) was off putting and felt like I was brushing my teeth with actual watermelon, flavour wise and texturally. The taste was tolarable after the week of use. My youngest (8) really liked it. The toothpaste did not feel chalky and did not froth up like other toothpastes. I would not buy this flavour again but if a minty version is available I would give it a go. I also like the tube sizing.

If I had both in front of me I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. I’m impressed. However unfortunately the toothpaste does not foam up as much as a typical toothpaste does - even when you use a lot of product which is disappointing. So I would recommend this product if that does not bother you although unfortunately I do not think I will be repurchasing this again.
