The packaging is nice, thick paper, which makes it feel like and expensive but is also recyclable. The soap itself has a lovely lemongrass scent which is nice and refreshing. Using this one in the shower, the poppy seeds provide a slight exfoliation, which is great for the lazy gal in me who hardly exfoliates her body. The soap isn’t overly harsh and drying as I find many other soaps to be. However, this is a face and body bar soap, I have to admit I did not use this on my face as I’m loyal to my routine of liquid cleansers.

Firstly, I liked the scent of this soap bar, it felt natural with a hint of freshness, like fresh laundry. I liked the addition of the poppyseeds which made it almost exfoliating as well as cleansing. I am a religious body wash user, as I find all soaps to feel too squeaky clean and harsh on my body. I had high hopes for this one as I understood it had manuka oil and extra antioxidants and nutrients to clean as well as moisturise the skin, however I still felt that too squeaky clean feeling, so I probably wouldn't use it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fhe5 from Great soap [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I fell in love with this Hemptuary face and body soap when I used it after I attended the Natural Beauty Month Marketplace Event! I love the little black things in the soap that would do the exfoliating of my face so well each night and morning in the shower and the smell of this soap is lovely and tropical too. I use this soap all over my body also, and I’m glad I’ve started, as my body feels so soft after I get out of the shower. This soap is very good quality and doesn’t make my skin feel dry, like other soaps can do. I will definitely buy this soap again, as I can’t stop using it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Irinam from Nice and natural [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t been using Hamptuary Soap on my face, but I can tell that it works perfectly for my body. It doesn’t just leave my skin moisturized after using it, but also my back acne started healing (after 3 weeks of using). The soap is green with poppy seeds and smells divine, like lemongrass. I like that there are no nasty ingredients in it like palm oil, parabens and silicons which make my skin more dry and irritated. But I still like to use my double cleanse method for the face (with cleansing balm and face washing gel), that’s why I haven’t tried it on my face yet. Maybe later I will give it a go.

I already have a few other Hemptuary products and I'm a fan so I was looking forward to trying this. Hemptuary say this bar is suitable for both face and body but I'll admit I wasn't brave enough to use it on my face. It smells like the Australian bush with lemongrass and manuka oil. The bar lathers nicely and leaves my skin feeling clean but not dry or tight. My only complaint is that I don't really love the way the poppy seeds stay on my skin. It's a bit discomfiting though obviously they rinse away easily.

Much like my soul, I have incredibly sensitive skin and Hemptuary’s Hemp Face and Body soap really took me by surprise cause for once, my skin said yes (to the dress but in this instance it was to the soap)! Typically bar soaps make my skin feel dryer than the Sahara desert but this wonderful product made me feel at peace, hydrated and most importantly - clean! I should also say calm because my god, that lemongrass under a hot shower really does wonders for relaxation! 5 stars all round ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Once you start using it, you can smell a hint of Lemongrass. I love that one of the ingredients is Manuka as my skin loves it! The soap was gentle and refreshing to use. It doesn't make your skin squeaky clean but definitely come out of the shower feeling amazing! I'm not too sure about using on my face as I try not to use bar soaps as part of my face wash routine. I feel that this would be really good to use during warm days to keep the skin clean. Overall, a great soap to use.

I have been looking for more natural soaps for face and body and this one is perfect. it contains natural ingredients with organic hemp. it has a lemongrass and mauna oil fragrance with poppy seeds. My first impression when trying this soap is I like the paper packaging. The soaps green in colour with poppy seeds. I used this on my face and body. It lathers up nicely. The smell is beautiful and not too strong. It felt nice on my skin, cleansing really well and removing most of my makeup. After use my skin felt clean and moisturised and didn't feel dry like other soaps do.
