Good Product!I’ve been using this stuff for 5 months after a big surgery where I have long scars and my scars are still visible after using it for all this time but without this gel I think they would have been worse, although I believe this gel probably works better for more smaller scars than big ones but that’s probably the same for all products.

Kelp-cote Scar TreatmentI have used Keli-cote on scars following the excision of skin cancers for many years. It was first recommended by the surgeon after removal of a melanoma from my face. It definitely improves the appearance of the scar over the period of use.

Unsure this time aroundI have used this product years ago at 2 separate times and had a fantastic result. However, this time around I am not having the same result and am unsure why? Has the formula changed? Is it not the same Kelo-cote that it used to be. It has been around 5 weeks of twice a day use and I still have a red, slightly raised scar. I will persevere and hope that the scar disappears like the previous ones, which are almost invisible. Time will tell!

Quicker and better results than others productsThis gel has reduced the chance of turning the scars into keloids.
I can also see how the colour is blending more with my skin tone.
The clear gel helps to reduce stains on clothes.
It doesn't dry as quick as mentioned and it's a bit sticky but good product in general.

Softens scars wellI was recommended this gel for some major keloid scars. I have only been using the gel for just over 2 months now and can already feel a difference. The scars have definitely softened, I'm looking forward to seeing the scars start to fade with more use.

Helps reduce kelod itchI developed a keloid after a mole shave excision. I had been using Kelo-cote before the keloid developed. It wasn't enough to prevent the keloid (for me) but, then, neither was the steroid cream my doctor prescribed. After weeks of the cream, it took 5 steroid injections over 3 months for the keloid to go down in size and get under control. However, there has been a little bit of irritation since.
I had continued to use the Kelo-cote after the injections ended. It doesn't dry quickly and so I cover it with Mepitac silicone tape, which I think helps as well. When the tube ran out (then 9mths after excision), I bought a cheaper brand available in my local pharmacy. The keloid became progressively irritated and started becoming more raised over the next 3 wks. I was worried it would lead to more injections. After the new tube of Kelo-cote arrived, the itching settled down within days. The keloid remained slightly raised, but the colour improved. The main thing for me is that the irritation is almost non-existent.
I am satisfied with this product and would use it again after any kind of surgery.

So far pretty goodI have been using Keli-cote for 3-4 weeks on a relatively newly healed scar and so far I am happy with the even tone and smoothing that has happened.

Works great on surgical scar!Used in my facial scar for 7 consecutive days and is definitely working in terms of faster healing time. Also gets rid of the redness pretty quickly
