This is a wonderful foaming gel by La Roche-Posay which is perfect for my combination skin and for my hubby's sensitive skin. I use this as the second step in my cleansing routine - after a cleansing oil. It does wonders removing all traces of makeup and impurities and I'm not left with that awful tightness that I have felt with some other cleansing gels. \nI like the packaging and the flip top cap which is attached makes it a wonderful travel companion. Also the squeeze tube which is top down makes it great to get every last bit of cleanser out.\nI love that this cleanser is free of soap, alcohol and parabens. Just another tick in my book!\n

This face wash does a pretty good job at cleaning my skin and removing oil and product! I did find my skin felt quite dry after I cleansed, and I needed to moisturise quickly after use so it wouldn't dry my skin out too much and cause a reaction. The gel consistency of this cleanser was easy to use and foamed up really nicely, making a little amount of product go a long way over my skin. I did not notice any dramatic differences in my breakout after using this for a month, but it always left my face feeling super clean, and it did not cause anymore breakouts to appear. If it was less drying on my oily skin, I think I would love this product more!

I have sensitive skin and loved this foaming gel cleanser as its free from soap, alcohol, colorants and parabens so it never irritates and is super gentle. I also have an oily tzone and the cleanser effectively reduces oil for a reduction is shine and fresher skin. Its super easy to use and foams well, rinsing clear. After using this my skin feels so clean and fresh and feels soft, its quite hydrating and not at all drying as some gel cleansers can be. Its really well priced as I never need to use a lot and is packaged nicely. This is a great quality gel cleanser for anyone prone to acne or oily skin, its really effective and I would recommend it.

I really enjoyed this cleanser. I’m not usually a fan of foaming cleansers however this one didn’t disappoint. I found the gel to be really soothing and gentle on my skin. When using the product I could feel it really working, getting into my pores and cleaning them properly. After use it left my skin soft and slightly tight but nothing major. It didn’t strip my skin of any moisture. If you have oily skin or breakouts this would suit you. It helped keep any breakouts at bay and really soothe them. A little bit did go a long way when using this also. I like to use it as my morning cleanser and my second cleanse at night.

This cleanser is definitely suited for sensitive skin. For myself personally, I would prefer a 'stronger' product and will return to my regular once I use up the Effaclar Foaming Gel. The gel had no harsh smells, and didn't sting or tingle at all when applied to skin, but I felt like it wasn't as 'clean' as when I use my regular cleanser. When I tried this product, my skin wasn't as sensitive as it usually can be, so that might be why I felt like it didn't 'work' as well as my other cleanser, but it will be a great option for when I do have a flareup and I can't wait to see how well it performs then.

This is a great cleanser for someone with oily acne prone skin. I've been suffering from acne for ages and have tried many cleansers over the years. Most of them were harsh and dried out my skin. This is brilliant. I only have to use a little amount and it foams up to a creamy gel, removing all the dirt on my skin without drying it out. Leaves my skin healthy and supple after washing my face and, my skin feels super clean. I would highly recommend this to anyone with acne prone skin. My acne is considerably under control now and my face is less oily. I'm extremely pleased. \n

Ever since I discovered La Roche-Posay Effaclar Foaming Gel it has literally been my go-to skincare product for breakouts. it also works so well with the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo Plus, which you can buy in a starter pack together. I personally have sensitive skin and this is one of the very few skin care product that works for all types of skin including sensitive skin. I use it every day as it helps to clear my pore giving me a fresh face to start the day off. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Foaming Gel works best if used routinely to see the best result for your skin.

I've been using the Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel for about a month now and I must say that it has done a fabulous job in reducing my breakouts and making my skin feel less oily. This cleansing gel is designed specifically for oily and acne prone skin and I do think that it would not be suitable for people with dry skin as it is a bit drying. The gel foams very well creating a gentle lather and it leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh after I use it. I have been using it twice a day and have hardly had any pimples at all since I started to use it.\n\nIt comes in a great 200ml size and as you only need a little bit to cover the whole face, it is great value for money.\n\nI also really like that it is free from parabens.\n
