Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. Good value. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the medela over some competitors, I found the size to be of a really good size and value. It doesn’t have a strong smell like other brands and also like you don’t have to remove between feeds. I have another product which is impossible to get out unless the room temp is over 25 degrees bath the medela one is easy to get out of the tube. It does leave a yellow mark on breast pads but had no issues with it coming out in the wash. My preferred out of the ones I have tried.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty good! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product with my Medela breast pump and I can’t fault it. I found it healing and did not cause my skin any issues. However, I have only used it on medium to low irritated skin. I do prefer Lanisoh in comparison as my skin responded really well to it when my nipples were going through a particularly tough time fresh into breast feeding. That is not to say this product wouldn’t hold up to that, I just wasn’t using it at that point in time on my breastfeeding journey.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, does the job [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cream did an amazing job at helping moisturise my cracked/blistered/scabbing nipples. I like how you don't have to wipe the cream of before breastfeeding as its safe and it’s definitely one less thing to think about. i recommend buying the tiny tube as you don’t need a-lot and i didn't event finish the tiny tube before i stopped needing it. I only used the cream during my 3 day stay in hospital and after that never used it again but it defines helped heal my nipples.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for an affordable price! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great lanolin product at an affordable price. I trust the Medela brand for breastfeeding accessories/bottles and Purelan is no exception. It is easy to use and has helped with some slight nipple discomfort during my breastfeeding journey. Recently had my 3rd baby and found this product whilst feeding my 2nd over 5 years ago. I bought while pregnant to use with this newborn and i haven’t had major nipple damage like with my first born. Definitely recommend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nipple Heaven [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this just in time for my second round of painful, cracked nipples so was able to give it a try. Within a few days, the pain was gone and they were healing nicely. The pros of using this ointment is that you don't need to wash it off before feeding bub so great to pop on before bed and leave, also a little bit goes a long way! The cons, being an ointment it can be a bit 'greasy' feeling but I can look past that for the relief it provides.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great lanolin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my baby was first born, she was in NICU so I was pumping with the hospital pump and my own personal hospital grade pump while trying to establish breastfeeding. This made my nipples incredibly sore so I purchased this nipple balm along with the Medela Nipple Shield. The Lansinoh brand seems to be more popular but all my other breastfeeding products were Medela and I was happy with them so I opted for this one. I applied this balm after each pumping session and feed, and never experienced cracked nipples. It is very thick and you do not need to use much at all. I only purchased one small tube and it still hasn’t run out after many months. Now that I have established breastfeeding and no longer need to use this, I use it on my lips as a lip balm.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from An expensive option [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Luckily for me I didn’t have issues with sore or cracked nipples but early in my breastfeeding journey I used Purelan cream on the advice of a friend. I also received a sample in the Tell Me Baby sample box. I do like that it is safe for baby to feed without washing the cream off, however it did seem as though my babe could taste it and wasn’t a fan! Maybe I was using too much. From what I have heard it is great for healing and soothing cracked nipples but it definitely loses points for cost. I purchased the large tube as that was all that was available at my pharmacy and it was around $20. I later found larger tubs of lanolin (exactly the same product) in a different section for $4-5 so it seems that there’s some price gouging because it’s in the baby section.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super easy to apply [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of the lanolin cream from my bump box and I truely loved it. Not only was it easy and smooth to apply unlike other thicker creams but I also found that my bub didn’t fuss when trying to latch after it (I removed as much as I could before latching). I wish I had a bigger sample so I could have tested it overnight too, to see if it provided enough relief when moving in my sleep. Overall a great cream.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy size and relieves pain [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Medela purelan really helps to soothe sore nipples from breastfeeding and pumping. You only need to apply just a little which enables the tube to last much longer. It has a very faint scent and is formulated with 100% pure lanolin, without additives or preservatives, which makes it safe for breastfeeding bubs. I especially like the smaller 7g tube as I can stow it away in the stroller, nappy bag or on trips away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product helped me before and during my breastfeeding journey. I conditioned my breasts 6 weeks before my baby arrived and than continued putting the product on every time I fed my baby and after every feed. It kept my nipples in perfect condition and it was safe for baby to use whilst feeding as well which meant I didn’t have to wipe it off for every feed. Great product highly recommend any Mummas to purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gifted and liked! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this as a gift to a friend as she has said it was amazing in helping to soothe her cracked nipples. I have used it myself too and love that it doesn’t irritate my extremely sensitive skin. It’s safe for bubba to feed right after application which takes the worry out of your mind once applied. The tube is quite small but you really only need a tiny amount which makes it go far. Worth the $10 for sure!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of the Purelan cream, and was grateful for the chance to try it out. It has a good consistency/texture and is super easy to apply. A very subtle scent. It didn't bother my baby either, and I like that you don't need to remove it before feeding. It's also good for just little dry patches of skin - relieves that dry, itchy feeling quickly. Overall, I would recommend this cream.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best results [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying so many different brands this is now my go to! Before my sons tongue tie was cut he wasn’t able to latch properly which made my nipples so cracked & dry which made breastfeeding so painful but this worked amazing! As soon as I put it on I has instant relief, I could feed my son with it on because it’s feed safe & didn’t taste disgusting. It healed my nipples completely in 10 days!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lanolin cream is a must have for any breastfeeding mums! I've been using it from my first baby. Now with my third baby, I still use it and it provides the protective layer over the nipples to heal sore nipples especially during the first few weeks of breastfeeding. They apply easily and it's so convenient that it doesn't need to be removed before each feed. It does wash off easily in shower.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Breastfeeding must-have [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this and I think it's comparable to another popular brand of lanolin cream used for breastfeeding. I think lanolin is an absolute must when starting breastfeeding whether it's your 1st or 4th baby, it's helped me everytime. This one isn't sticky, and a little goes a long way. No fragrance either. Would buy again but only if at the same price point as other brands.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nipple Help [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Lanolin just in time to save my itchy nipples from being cracked and sore once again! I recently started getting itchy nipples after 7 weeks of breastfeeding and couldn’t understand why! I applied the Lanolin and they came good almost straight away. Only concern was it’s very thick and makes it difficult to put clothing on for quite some time without it rubbing off.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Abit to sticky [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased with product along with others offered i the same market prior to the birth of my daughter. Once i started breastfeeding i used it for relief but found the consistency to be extreamly thick and tacky, requiring rubbing to put on. As you can imagine, with cracked nipples this was painfull. I would not purchase this product again as I prefer others on offer on the market

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have item for breastfeeding mum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this cream for the first time when I got a sample of it from an expo. However, I ended up buying it as it’s so good. This cream is a lifesafer whenever I had sore nipples or milk blisters. It’s almost like an instant reliever, and I can even see the result in no time. Another plus is we only need to apply a little bit of it due to the thick consistency. Totally recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thick consistency [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this brand as I was travelling as they didn’t have the pure lanolin which is what I was used to. The consistency is quite thick and hard to spread around. It also had a yellow colour and it had a slight smell to it compared to my other lanolin cream. It took me quite awhile to spread the product. I would recommend other brand unless you like the cream slightly thicker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Soothing relief [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this nipple cream on my severely cracked and bleeding nipples if the first couple of weeks of breastfeeding. I found that using the breastmilk to sooth the nipples as recommended by our midwives wasn't enough and this cream provided great relief. I used it straight after a feed and wiped off any remaining cream before feeding again and bub didn't seem to notice any taste.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Offers relief [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only had nipple issues a couple of times (as I mainly pumped) but when I was sore those few times I was happy to have this. It is a small tube (see pic with hand for size reference). Its quite thick, hard to rub in but I guess it's more to coat and not rub in? I hadn't used mine for awhile and actually had a lot of trouble squeezing it out even though it was closed properly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved sampling this product! I was just using what I had around the house previously for my poor nipples but tried and loved this!! It definitely helps recovery with cracked nipples and helped out breastfeeding journey in the long run. My only issue was I’m a very sensory person and the texture was somewhat too much. Regardless I would still use in the future!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smooth application and soothing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally a nipple cream that goes on smoothly! When you have sore, raw or cracked nipples you need a product that glides on easily, and doesn't leave excess residue behind. My little miss at 6 weeks was still leaving me feeling raw so I tried this product and the difference when I woke up the following day was remarkable! Definitely would buy again if needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stuff [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the sample pack from the baby box and it couldn’t have come at a better time! I used the sample pack and found it helped my cracked nipples from breastfeeding my bub so much! Soaked in straight away and I did t even need to wipe it off to feed baby! Feeling much better after just using the sample pack I had to go buy some more for next time!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Medela purelan [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Medela Purelan Lanolin Cream is designed for use in pregnancy and in the early stages of commencing breastfeeding. It contains lanolin as well as other key ingredients that help to care for nipples by moisturising and hydrating, preventing and healing cracked and damaged nipples and is a great budget friendly option. This product is very easy to use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pricier [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried medela’s lanolin ointment when the chemist i went to ran out of lansinoh. It’s a few dollars pricier than lansinoh but to be honest it’s about the same just a slightly yellowish colour. I use it a lot for my nipples and the area around it which tends to be dry. It does the job but due to price point I will probably go back to my old brand.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost magic in a tube. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works wonderfully for healing those cracked and dried nipples. Needs to be applied quite heavily to have a more lasting effect as otherwise it rubs off on nursing pad/bra. Only downside is once the product starts to get cold in the tube it is almost near impossible to squeeze it out. Also makes for a great heel balm when finished breastfeeding.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It helps but isn't the best [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This helps soothe cracked nipples as intended but I don't think it works as good as other products I have tried. The consistency is good, easy to apply. Helps the healing process a lot but isn't the first product I would purchase when in need. This has not got any wow factor other than the brand name to be honest. It is just a generic product.
