Good for newborns
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The medela slow flow are handy for young babies and those with a small latch.
Easy to clean, and easy to replace.
The teat does tend to collapse when Bub drinks as a vacuum is created so make sure you don’t screw the collar on too tight. Helps allow air in and allow Bub to drink more effectively.
They do tend to go cloudy in appearance after a while, you just pop them in water and a bit of white vinegar for a short soak and they come up new.
One draw back is they are thin, so you need to replace them a bit more often than other brands as they wear out a bit faster.

Does its job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were recommended to use the slow teats by our maternal nurse as she believed that our bub was drinking his milk too fast hence he wasn't tiring self enough when using the bottle to sleep. The teat is slower compared to the medium flow teat we had originally with the bottles and it does its job. The only thing I would suggest is something to distinguish the medium flow teat versus slow teat because when you put them together to wash they are identical. Having said that though I wouldn't think someone would use them both at the same time. The only time when they need to distinguish them is packing them one teat after the other.

Useful and convenient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a couple of the Medella teats, the slow ones but also the Calma as we didn't really know what our son would prefer. The great things about all the teats is that they all fit on the same bottles. That is quite useful as it would be so annoying to get different bottles every time! The slow teats are great if you breast flow is slow too, that way your baby is not surprised when trying the bottle (different texture as your breast and different flow). My advice is to get a couple of the different teats, and just try what your baby prefers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted these by a friend afte telling her it was on my list of things to buy due to been given the medela storage bottles already. I have used it daily with my son and he drinks well from them. The only issue I have is that sometimes he tends to chew on the end and auctions it also completely closed and squishes the whole teet. I have found other teets to be more productive in resolving this issue as they aren't quite as long. All in all this isn't a bad product, great quality and price just not the best for us.

Expensive with a few flaws
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these as required slower flow for newborn to use with the 150ml bottle. Teats themselves are good quality with small hole for milk, however the warmer the milk is, the faster the teats flow. I think this is a manufacturing fault, however I currently just ensure the milk is cooler than lukewarm and the flow is at the right speed. Also find that the teat can be squashed by bub, who then gets frustrated that the milk isn’t coming through.

Good product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My bub never rejected these teats and it hasn't cause bottle preference which are big plusses!
Very Accessible so easy to find replacement in chemists and baby bunting.
The only negative part is that it stains I think because of the silicone type.
Anyway due to the good price and bub liking it I would still buy more. I just need to clean the teats properly with hope that it won't stain when it dries.

Best product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the Medella breast pump and bottles so I needed the spare teats. I got them from baby bunting on special and they are fantastic. They are durable and don’t leak like others. They are easy to clean and sterile. I have purchased several of them as Bub only liked medella. The test itself is narrow so it’s easy for Bub to place in mouth and not push out. Would totally recommend.

not for my bubba
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was given some medela bottles that had the spots for teats and i decided to try the teats. my bub initially liked it but quickly turned into a fuss to get her to take the teat and milk would run out the sides of her mouth. what i did like about the teat is that it is smaller than some others and good for little mouths. just unfortunate that bub rejected it
