Directions For Use

Add one sachet of OPTIFAST® VLCD™ Shake to 200-250mL of cold or warm water. Stir, blend or shake to dissolve. Do not use boiling water.

All prepared products should be tightly covered and consumed within 6 hours at room temperature or within 24 hours if refrigerated.
Note: Do not change proportions. Follow preparation instructions. Discard any unfinished product that has been heated.

For the first week I was still feeling a little hungry but once your body goes into ketosis this feeling goes away and the weight comes off faster. I originally started this program before I could have weight loss surgery but I have lost so much weight that my doctor doesn’t think I need the surgery any longer. For anybody struggling to lose weight I highly recommend optifast but it isn’t a quick fix to your weight problem....it takes will power and determination to improve your health

Rated 5 out of 5 by crystalsiprit from 8 weeks ago i started using 1 optifast shake a day, eg,i would have a small bowl of porridge for breakfast, a shake for lunch an apple or similar as afternoon snack and 1 or 2 bowls of home made vege soup later for dinner, quite accidently i stopped eating meat and bread, cut sugar completely, simply because it just didnt fit into my new daily meal plan that acctually kept me very satisfied, i had to be tough the first few days but i was determined to loose that excess weight. it took just 2 weeks before i didnt miss any of those extra things any more, i have lost 7 kg and a rare skin condition i have, for the first time in my life is in remission, im 60 yrs old fit and healthy and still work full time. best decision i ever made was to start the optifast weight loss plan. ps, vanilla is my favourite flavour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Queenie from Recommended this product I started on Optifast in preparation for bariatric surgery, namely Gastric Sleeve in February this year. A little over 9 weeks has passed since my surgery. I have continued with Optifast and weight is reducing steadily, by 25 kilos so far. Vanilla is my favourite flavour although I also like Strawberry and Banana flavours. Chocolate is fine too but Vanilla is the one I like best. Of course everyone has their own personal preference but I would recommend Vanilla Optifast shakes as a very good place to start one's weight loss regimen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jbee from Tasty and Sustainable I've been very happy with all the Optifast products I've tried so far. I've tried the shakes, soups and bars. The Vanilla Shake is my 'go to' for breakfast and I alternate that with other flavours. They taste quite good and are so easy it makes it very sustainable and means my calorie intake is very controlled for those meals.
