Directions For Use

Dry Skin Gel can be used all over the body, and massaged in small circular motions until almost fully absorbed. Apply a small amount to dry skin as required. Use less than you would applying a cream.

Bio-Oil Dry Skin Gel is non-comedogenic (doesn’t block pores) and gentle enough to be used on sensitive skin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kerry715 from Ok but thought it would be stronger After having surgery in May, i had to find a product that i could use to reduce the appearance of my scars so i decided to use this Bio Oil gel to see how it would go. This gel leaves your skin very velvety once dried and rubs in well however with scars I have not found it makes much difference with the appearance of them, so I wonder if other bio oil products are more effective. I think it is OK for general stretch marks. The original bio oil might be a better alternative to look for a better choice to use for scar management and it also depends on the severity of the scars. Apart from that, any abrasions or marks on the skin seem to heal well with the use of this gel. But it doesn't firm the skin of you have had a large weight loss and are carrying quite a bit of loose skin around with you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jacinta89 from Great for Impatient People So I have used the original bio oil and didn't like it as it felt like it took FOREVER to soak in, and I did not have the patience for that. This new format is soooo much better. Being a gel oil ot soaks in very quickly and doesn't feel as heavy on the skin as the traditional bio oil. It still has the traditional bio oil scent, but that also doesn't seem to be as strong as the original, so you can apply it during the day as well as night.

Rated 4 out of 5 by olga692 from Mixed feelings I was quite excited about trying this product. I've used the oil before, after having open heart surgery I applied it to the scar. This sounded like a much easier, and less messy, way to use the product. Because it was winter I decided to use this gel as a night time moisturiser. My skin, now that I'm in my 50's can get quite dry in the winter. Even though you don't really use a lot, I felt like this tub lasted forever, because it is a gel you need to use more than necessary to get the coverage. Then once your skin warms the gel it suddenly becomes a lot runnier. Too much to absorb so you are left with a shiny, oily face that at times is a bit irritating. For that reason I think the oil is probably a better way to go as very often I found myself wiping the excess off. Which is wasteful. But I did like the results. My skin felt very hydrated and soft.

I have used the Bio Oil before which I enjoyed but was eager to give the gel a go. I like using it straight after stepping out of the shower. It goes onto the skin pretty easily and soaks In quite quickly. It’s not greasy and within a week I noticed that the dry skin on my legs had improved. Have purchased this again and continue to enjoy it.

So I was eager to try this because during winter, my skin is so dry. The product itself feels moisturising and it is not greasy. It leaves my skin feeling moisturised and loved. After a few applications, I can see a slight improvement in my skin so I can’t wait to keep using it!

It is great for dry skin and I use it overnight for a wonderful overnight replenishing option for my face and wrinkles. Perfect for all skin types and you don't need to use to much to get great coverage. I use it also on my scars and have seen an improvement in their appearance.

It comes in a handy 100ml container that is easy to store and use. It hydrates the skin as well as adding moisture. Its good for dry skin and sensitive skin.
