Option 1: Press the sides of the cup together and then fold in half again to form a U shape.
Option 2: Place a finger on the top rim of the cup and press it down into the center of the inside base to form a triangle. This make the top rim much small to insert

absolutely brilliant and life changing
This beautiful silicone cup is totally freeing - getting rid of the monthly task of buying tampons or pads (and eliminating the subsequent waste of traditional menstrual products).
Other pluses include: no smell of oxidised blood and most importantly no leaking.
Would highly recommend to every woman who's comfortable getting intimate with their V A G I N A and subsequent monthly blood flow to get on board with the diva cup!
P.S you can measure how much you bleed!! I found this feature particularly exciting as it feels like literally buckets of blood are being jettisoned from my body once a month (not so - between 30 to 60ml only!!!)

Major advantages over pads and tampons but fiddly
The upsides to the Diva Cup are that it's made from easy to clean silicone and it saves so much environmental waste and time. The areas for improvement would be in the size recommendation (being over 30 years old they tell you to get the larger size regardless of your child bearing status - this made no sense to me but i went with it. Turns out that it's too big and as a result difficult to insert). The other issue is the stem, it pokes. I trimmed the stem but now it's hard to remove. They need to include more detailed information about usage. U-tube addressed this issue but I think that you shouldn't have to go elsewhere for instructions.

Comfortable and easy to use
Far easier to use than I thought it would be and when inserted correctly, you cannot feel it. I initially considered that it would not be suitable for use when at work, but then I remembered it can be left in for up to 12 hours, so that isn't a problem. Wonderful to not have to change a tampon several times a day. Can be a little messy when removing, so best to do at home. Great being able to use at night and not be concerned about leakage. Highly recommended....wish I'd tried one years ago.

The Diva Cup has changed my life!
Every claim is TRUE! I feel as if I have regained control of my body. First I loved it at home, but I have just finished my first 12 hour shift while using the Diva cup. I felt confident, clean, stress free, and hassle free. I will never use another sanitary item again, this is an amazing gift to women.

Fantastic Product
Its supports much better than tampons or pads, no land fill, cleaner for the environment and YOUR body. this needs to be marketed better, all women should be using this. you can wear it much longer than other products, especially during the night
