Been using it for a week now and have found that my mouth feels better, with no little tooth pains from biting too hard or any sensitive teeth issues and so the toothpaste is giving me that protection. My only gripe is the very strong taste - as soon as i get that smell and taste I am in the dentist's chair undergoing my 6-month check-up, the toothpaste just tastes exactly like the paste the dentist uses. A very acquired taste.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kat896 from Stronger, healthier teeth and gums [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was not sure about this toothpaste as I felt it was a little too strong in flavour and the texture was a bit too rough, but after persisting in daily usage for a week, I had gotten used to the flavour and texture and the results are amazing. After one week of using the Oral B dental science toothpaste, my teeth feel so much better between use and my gums have definitely become a more healthier pink colour. I am not sure if this was suppose to happen but it really assisted with bleeding gums too. Very happy with this toothpaste

Rated 1 out of 5 by Denny from Horrible, causes canker sores and non-stop ulcers I switched to this toothpaste a month ago and continuously had canker sores that would never go away. Only after some googling did I find out that it contains SLS, a common detergent which causes and aggravates mouth ulcers. STAY AWAY, HORRIBLE PRODUCT. Dental science more like dental money-grubbing

Could smell the product before I even broke the seal. The toothpaste itself was thick and white and easy to squeeze. The tube was a decent size. The smell was strong and the taste was really different than the standard mint that I've used for years. The texture was a bit grainy and it didn't foam up as normal. After a quick and easy rinse my teeth felt amazingly clean. My mouth was fresh and felt like I'd used a mothwash already. Love this product. After one use I'm completely converted by taste alone. Can't wait to see if it does actually improve gum health as it suggests. 10/ 10 from me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Suze from Poor flavor I bought this toothpaste described as Smooth Mint. This is misleading as the flavor is actually wintergreen not mint at all. I liken it to locker room liniment. Yuck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by McTrial6 from Tooth happy [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toothpaste has quite a subtle minty flavour, it initially reminded me of mouthwash, but it definitely isn't as harsh as mouthwash or other toothpastes I've used. My gums can be quite sensitive and I've found the Oral-B dental science gum & enamel daily protection toothpaste to be quite soft on my gums - no burning feeling. Afterwards my teeth and mouth feel clean and I like the minty taste it has. I'd recommend this to anyone else who has sensitive gums.

It has a grainy texture which I am not a fan of. The taste of it was a toothpaste flavour, not overly minty which was good. My teeth felt clean, my breath was fresh. When I reflect on the gum portion of toothpaste, I wouldn't say that it does anything more than a standard toothpaste. I would buy this toothpaste if it was on sale, but I probably wouldn't prioritise having it.
