So happy I bought this after so many drugstore sunscreen fail at achieving what a makeup wearer need underneath only a layer of serum. I abhor wearing layers of product underneath my makeup. What I always want is a sunscreen moisturising enough to wear alone before a foundation at this price point, I usually has just another light serum on before applying sunscreen. My skin is normal combination and often break out with sunscreen products, so I thread gently when choosing a new one. Cetaphil has ace the game with this ultra light lotion. The lotion is soft and easy to spread hence happy to reapply more often. When writing this review, I have gone through winter and into spring. I don't find it extra sticky either during a warmer weather.

Rated 3 out of 5 by smurfette85 from A bit thick for my liking [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the lovely people at beauty heaven and cetaphil for giving me the opportunity to try this sunscreen. I have combo oily skin and while not a fan of sunscreen make an effort to apply it each morning. This sunscreen is quite a thick cream that is unscented. It spread nicely for such a thick cream but didn’t absorb particularly well. I felt as if I had an oily coating on my skin. The product lasted well through sweating and swimming and did not sting my eyes. I just couldn’t get over the film left on my skin. For this reason I doubt I would repurchase this sunscreen in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kidmiffy from Easy to apply and it doesnt look/smell like I am wearing suncream My usual beef with wearing sunscreen on a daily basis is that (1) it leaves you with the white residua, (2) you smell like youve just gone to the pool, even if your just at work and (3) it leaves my skin feeling clogged and greasy....all in the name of being sunsafe! Well I find this sunscreen ticks all my boxes. The lotion comes in a tube, squeeze out a little and rub into your skin. Voila...I couldn't smell anything. My skin didnt look white or greasy. After a couple of hours in the sun my skin still felt clean and was not burnt. I know it wirks because I missed a patch on my arm and have a big red stripe while the rest of me is normal coloured.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Pobblebonk from Too oily for me This says oil free, but it must have silicones in it instead (the ones that feel oily), it made me really shiny. PROS: - My often sensitive skin didn't react to this - Spreads well CONS -Made me really shiny, though it didn't feel super oily, strange... - This needs to be used on *bare* skin, the chemical absorbers only work if they can sink into your skin, that's why you have to wait 20 minutes after applying a chemical sunscreen to go outside to have proper protection. This is a big negative for me as I like to use a Vitamin C + E serum during the day under my sunscreen because it improves performance, though presumably only with physical sunscreen

Rated 4 out of 5 by jewl from Great multitasking product I was lucky enough to receive tiny samples of these. I love the fact that it has spf of 50+! I used them when I went travelling to Asia and boy was it useful! The bottle is upside down so the lid is where you can make it sit. It is a white tube and the lid is orange. The moisturiser itself if thick which I think is due to the sunscreen ingredient but it easily absorbs into my skin. It is also a great base if I were to use foundation on top and doesn't make me look too cakey. I love that you can use this all over your body but I mainly used it for my face and neck. It was just a great product to have in my bag when I was travelling!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rams23 from Broke me out This product broke me out so much!! I have oily skin and keep my skin pretty much under control with a good routine. When I switched to this sunscreen I started getting pimples all over my face, I didn't believe this could be the cause and kept using it. After using it for 2 months I realised that this is the product that's giving me pimples, as I had only started putting it on my chest and I started getting breakouts there too. Soon as I have stopped using it my skin has calmed down immensely and I am not getting any new pimples. My entire face and neck are now full of acne scars. The sunscreen itself was okay other than I think something in it that can precipitate acne. Please be warned.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Deeknight from would prefer a matte finish [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the packaging of this product; the bright orange really stands out and it is easily found in my vanity. I was a little disappointed that the tube seemed to be only two thirds full so I think a smaller bottle, or a larger volume would be better. The cream is very light and glides over the skin easily however it is a little on the sticky side which I don't love. It does not have a scent. Having oily skin I do prefer something that has a matte finish and this left my skin feeling and looking shiny. This is absolutely perfect for my body however I'm not 100% keen on it for my face. Very impressed with the 50+ and confident to use for water use for the family.

I have oily skin and was trying to find a product that isn't shiny and greasy to use on my face. It's quite good but just not as good as I was expecting! I find that even if I put on the smallest amount my face still gets really shiny and greasy looking... Unfortunately I think I might have to keep looking. I'll probably keep using this on my body in summer but find something better for my face. It's ooookay under a matte makeup but still doesn't feel that great, it's just not as lightweight as I was hoping.
