There are several ways to sterilise your Pigeon baby bottles and teats.
Boiling/Steaming sterilisation: Thoroughly wash the nipple, bottle, cap and hood, and place in water. Bring the water to a boil. Sterilise for 5 minutes after the water comes to a boil.
Chemical sterilisation and microwave sterilisation are possible. Use sterilising products specifically for baby bottles and nipples. Follow the instructions in the user’s manual for these products. With chemical sterilisation, the printing on the bottle may fade.
UV sterilisation is possible. Follow the instructions in the user’s manual provided by the manufacturer of the UV steriliser. It is recommended to replace the product when it starts to discolour and/or turn cloudy.
We recommend changing Pigeon teats every 2-3 months, taking into consideration how many you have in rotation. Change your baby bottle teats immediately if they're damaged, weak or have bite marks.
If your teats have discoloured it is likely that they have been in contact with high temperatures during washing and sterilising.
Kindly check the temperature for your electric steriliser that it doesn’t exceed 110 degrees celsius and discard discoloured teat.

Worst ever test designI've been using the Pigeon wide neck bottles and teats for 3 years and only now having issues. I recently purchased some new Softouch III teats and they are absolutely useless. I constantly have to unlock bub to release the suction which builds up and prevents milk flow. The air release valve clearly doesn't work. I don't have the Softouch III bottles, however it states the Softouch III teats are compatible with all Pigeon wide neck bottles. Such garbage, I'm so disappointed. I will no longer be recommending pigeon products.

SofTouch™ III Teat S 2pcsThe valve is not releasing air intermittently. I have to manually massage it open every time before feed. Doesn’t make too much difference from previous version in real life use.

Best teats for bubsThe new teats are softer than the older version, i like the latch-on line/mark, guide for appropriate latch and it reduce intake of gas that causes colic. Only use Pigeon teats and bottles for my baby. Im using the PPSU bottles in honey toned.

Newborn mix feeding teatThis teat was a life saver for us! We started our baby on formula at two days because she wouldn't latch and had bad jaundice - long story short - these bottles allowed me to mix feed her and saved us from nipple confusion. Highly recommend!

Great teat for mix feedingWe moved to this teat from the SS at about 2 months and it was Perfect size teat/flow. These teats made mix feeding a breeze! Bubs took to the bottle with ease and no nipple confusion! Highly recommended for those who want to to mix feed.

Perfect wide neck teatThis teat was awesome after four weeks when my baby started needing more milk and was capable of managing a slightly heavier flow. Highly recommend upgrading your teats as bubba gets older to keep positive association with feeding.
