Directions For Use

Designed for daily use. Squeeze cleanser into hand and massage over damp skin. Rinse thoroughly. Can be used less frequently if desired.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AmaliMuse from Doesn't make skin feel dry after use. I don't use this daily, but when I feel like I need exfoliation. It's not overtly harsh, the formula feels cleansing and there's not too many suds and bubbles, which I prefer. The product does foam but not an excessive amount, leaving my skin feeling cleansed and brighter. It does feel slightly hydrating after use and the cleanser feels like a serum-gel in texture. The packaging is great and easy to use. It does feel like a mini scrub and contains small particles for the exfoliating feel, which is the only downside but the packaging does say it contains this. I like using it as a scrub once in a while and applying it gently.

It is gentle enough to use everyday but I would advise against using it in the morning unless you are exceptionally Oily or have Combination skin. It can lead toward the drying side if you're not careful. The masking fragrance which smells just as strong and pervasive as the fragrance in the Oily skin cleanser is a bit of a problem would be great if CETAPHIL could release a fragrance-free version of this product. This exfoliating cleanser is thorough enough to remove water-resistant sunscreen and a moderate to heavy amount of makeup. The decent size should last you a good while. The packaging is o.k... nothing special, just your average pharmacy clinical packaging. Great for men or women, easy to use and travel with. The exfoliating particles are a bit too small to do any real exfoliating, but it is an exfoliating cleanser and not strictly an EXFOLIANT as such. I only have one beef with this product and that has to do with the INCI or ingredient listing. It does not match the U.S Version, two beneficial ingredients Panthenol (Vitamin B5) and Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) are both on the lower end of the INCI. What does that mean? Well, it means you're not getting these ingredients in a high amount as is the U.S. version. Having said that it doesn't really matter in a cleanser since beneficial ingredients like this need to stick around to do their thing. You're not going to get that in a rinse-off product like a cleanser. This is the reality of skincare.

The cleanser has microfine granules that give my skin a deep clean and it’s great for pores. It removes grime, oil and makeup and leaves my skin feeling and looking so fresh and clear. My skin looks plumper and brighter when I use this as it removes dead skin cells. Cetaphil make a great budget friendly product and this cleanser comes at a great price. You can use it daily because it’s so gentle but I only use it about 3 times a week for great results. I would recommend this

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cathyartup from Gentle daily exfoliation The daily exfoliating cleanser is a really good cleanser to exfoliate your skin daily without stripping it of natural oils and doesn’t leave my skin irritated or red. This is a gel cleanser with tiny beads that gently buff away dry dull skin to promote cell turn over. It has a very mild clean scent that’s not overpowering. I love that it’s infused with skin loving vitamins and skin conditioners. I use this at night on damp skin massaging the product gently over my entire face then rinse with warm water. My skin is left clean, soft, clear and ready for my night cream.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Falak142 from Good daily cleanser I love cetaphil and I was excited to try this product because of the word "exfoliation". The packaging is very simple with a flip top tube. It has gel consistency with very tiny beads which almost melts when you massage it. It does clean daily oil build-up and pollution however did very little for makeup. I felt it worked better when I used a wash cloth to wipe away or use this cleanser as second cleanse when I was wearing makeup. It has very mild fragrance which didn't bother need atall. Out does lather and feels creamy on the skin. It didn't leave my skin dry but moisturized. It sometimes left a bit of residue thus i liked to use a wash cloth with this cleanser instead of just rinsing. I liked this product and expected a bit more "exfoliation"thus one less star.

Rated 4 out of 5 by katrina176 from Gentle and effective. Cetaphil Daily Exfoliating Cleanser claims to gently exfoliate skin , remove dirt and impurities. After using daily i found this to be a really good product. The clear like gel has tiny beads that you can barely feel when applied to face. But you can feel it buffing away and it leaves skin feeling very smooth and soft. It had a very light fragrance , It is probably one of the most gentle face exfoliators i have used. It's so gentle on the skin and can be used daily. I felt no dryness after use. My skin was smooth and appeared to be clean and fresh. I find alot of exfoliators irritate my skin leaving it red but no redness after using this one. Would recommend this product to anyone after a gentle but effective exfoliator , this wont dissapoint. Will continue to use this and will purchase in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Eskimo82 from A little drying for drier skin types The Cetaphil Daily Exfoliating Cleanser is a nice gel cleanser with micro beads for polishing the skin. I have dry skin and found the micro beads were a little harsh for my skin. I felt that they were not as smooth as I would have liked and felt like they were tugging a little on my skin. The cleanser is easy to rinse off, but I didn't like the way my skin felt tight afterwards. I'm not sure if the gel holding the microbeads could have been a bit thicker to help the beads move more smoothly over the skin, or that there could be less beads but either way it felt a little too much for my skin. While my skin did feel smooth, it was just a bit too drying. This particular product isn't fragrance free, but the scent is quite nice. The packaging is simple and sturdy. I would have preferred a pump bottle for convenience.

This a great gentle exfoliating facial cleanser that removes all of the day's pollutants, makeup and any other nasties on your skin whilst, the micro-fine granules buff away my dry skin to smoothness. The granules did not feel harsh on my skin and it did not irritate it. My skin felt so smooth after using this product. It helped glide my moisturiser and foundation a lot easier. It left my skin feeling soft, smooth and with a nice radiant glow. The smell was not too strong which, is perfect for those who don't like strongly scented products. I really like this product as it removed my makeup and left my skin looking a lot more radiant than usual. I would use this about twice a week so not to over scrub my skin. I would definately repurchase this.
