Pretty good - even for mature skin!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really pleasantly surprised by this exfoliating cleanser. I expected it might dry my mature skin out, but it actually leaves it feeling clean, fresh, and comfortable—not tight or stripped at all. The exfoliation is gentle enough for daily use, and my skin feels smoother without any irritation. A great option if you want a mild exfoliant that respects sensitive or aging skin. I took it travelling with me and found the packaging durable for being knocked around. Its smell is subtle but has a faint hint of something strange. Cherries maybe? Overall it’s a good product and I’d buy this.

Made me break out

Every single time I used this cleanser I would end up with clusters of persistent pimples that would add up the more I used it until I was covered in acne. I don’t think I had breakouts this bad even as a teenager.
It was a little harsh on the sensitive areas of my face, I was left with tender areas after using it so I wouldn’t recommend it as a daily exfoliator if you have sensitive skin.
As there wasn’t really any positives for me using this product, it’s not something I would buy again.

Doesn't make skin feel dry after use.
I don't use this daily, but when I feel like I need exfoliation. It's not overtly harsh, the formula feels cleansing and there's not too many suds and bubbles, which I prefer. The product does foam but not an excessive amount, leaving my skin feeling cleansed and brighter. It does feel slightly hydrating after use and the cleanser feels like a serum-gel in texture. The packaging is great and easy to use. It does feel like a mini scrub and contains small particles for the exfoliating feel, which is the only downside but the packaging does say it contains this. I like using it as a scrub once in a while and applying it gently.

Average Exfoliating Cleanser
This is an average exfoliating cleanser from CETAPHIL. It is gentle enough to use everyday but I would advise against using it in the morning unless you are exceptionally Oily or have Combination skin. It can lead toward the drying side if you're not careful. The masking fragrance which smells just as strong and pervasive as the fragrance in the Oily skin cleanser is a bit of a problem would be great if CETAPHIL could release a fragrance-free version of this product. This exfoliating cleanser is thorough enough to remove water-resistant sunscreen and a moderate to heavy amount of makeup. The decent size should last you a good while. The packaging is o.k... nothing special, just your average pharmacy clinical packaging. Great for men or women, easy to use and travel with. The exfoliating particles are a bit too small to do any real exfoliating, but it is an exfoliating cleanser and not strictly an EXFOLIANT as such. I only have one beef with this product and that has to do with the INCI or ingredient listing. It does not match the U.S Version, two beneficial ingredients Panthenol (Vitamin B5) and Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) are both on the lower end of the INCI. What does that mean? Well, it means you're not getting these ingredients in a high amount as is the U.S. version. Having said that it doesn't really matter in a cleanser since beneficial ingredients like this need to stick around to do their thing. You're not going to get that in a rinse-off product like a cleanser. This is the reality of skincare.

Gentle but effective cleanser
I love this exfoliating cleanser because it’s really gentle on my skin even though it delivers a deep clean. The cleanser has microfine granules that give my skin a deep clean and it’s great for pores. It removes grime, oil and makeup and leaves my skin feeling and looking so fresh and clear. My skin looks plumper and brighter when I use this as it removes dead skin cells. Cetaphil make a great budget friendly product and this cleanser comes at a great price. You can use it daily because it’s so gentle but I only use it about 3 times a week for great results. I would recommend this
