Gentle Facial Scrub
I have always had extremely oily skin and the Sukin Oil Balancing range is the best product I have found that works well for me. It has become a necessity in my every day skincare routine.
I really wanted to like this product but it just isn’t my favourite. Even though this facial scrub isn’t harsh to the skin and left my skin feeling soft and exfoliated after using, it left an unclean feeling on the skin that made me feel like I needed to wash my face again with cleanser.
I probably wouldn’t purchase this product again for myself.
More positively, this product is Australian made, uses natural ingredients, is cruelty free and vegan!

This is my second review for this product.
The first few times I used this I could not stand the smell, and felt there was not enough "scrub"...
After using it a few more times I have actually noticed my skin is softer, and less black heads around my nose.
I still think the scent is quite strong but that is because of the Charcoal.
My boyfriend also uses this and I have noticed his skin/beard has less ingrown hairs and less blackheads too.
I would use this again, but might alternate between the other Sukin facial scrubs.
**I am not prone to acne, but get the odd hormonal spots around my chin, this has helped a lot as its not a harsh scrub.
I love that it is Australian owned too.

Light scrub love the charcoal
I'm in love with this scrub. I have found some scrubs too rough in the past and with my gentle skin it is just too much but this one is great! It's the perfect amount of scrub and gentle.
I also really enjoy the light charcoal scent (charcoal is all the rage right now) and Sukin's range doesn't disappoint. It is easy to apply and because it isn't so abrasive it is a scrub you could use more frequently. I am only using this once a week but I think you could definitely do 2-3 times a week if that was what your skin was wanting/requiring.
LOVE the Sukin range for being Australian, affordable and no nasties!

Great scrub
I love this scrub. It's rough enough to scrub but gentle enough not to cause irritation. I personally prefer manual scrubs to chemical ones as I can control how rough I am being with the product. I think if used gently enough it could be used everyday but two to three times a week would be enough.
It's consistency is not too thick or thin. It's super easy to rinse off under the shower.
I like the scent. It's not overpowering.
I love that the price point is reasonable for natural skincare. And that it is Australian. I'm yet to see much of a difference with my pores but my skin does feel nice and smooth.

Did not refine my pores however prevented breakouts
This scrub is a grey charcoal colour and quite thick in consistency. It does not smell strong like other charcoal scrubs and is more pleasant to use as a result. The scrub is very creamy and does not feel very exfoliating. I would like more exfoliating beads in the scrub as I feel it is a bit too gentle to be a scrub. On the plus side, the scrub can be used more frequently as it is not harsh on my skin. I did not find the scrub to refine my pores unfortunately but I found my skin got less breakouts. Unfortunately I feel the scrub should not be called pore refining as it did nothing for my pores rather helped with breakouts. Overall not a bad scrub for the price range but nothing amazing for my pores.

Gentle, organic face scrub
I found this face scrub needs a week or two before your results amaze you, this could be due to the organic nature with no harsh chemicals or large granular pieces that normal scrubs i found work instantly but over time my skin doesn't improve.
The gentle nature of the scrub is nice and over time my oil is reduced as well as blackheads over my nose and chin.
I use it twice a week max but due to its not super abrasive texture you could probably use it more often depending on your routine and end goals.
In conjunction with the cleanser and moisturizer my skin has improved so much and makes me feel awesome for supporting a organic, zero carbon footprint australian company! 100% recommend for nature conscious people with oily skin :)

Definite Difference
When I first used this facial scrub I was a little sceptical because the larger exfoliating granules were sparse and it didn't really feel like I was getting a good exfoliation out of it. HOWEVER, after using this scrub for a week, my pores/blackheads are visibly smaller on my nose, chin and forehead, my skin looks smoother and the overall skin tone is more even.
I think these benefits are from the finer exfoliating particles in this scrub. They're so refined that they're almost not there but you can definitely feel something. This, on top of all the natural active ingredients is what I think made the difference in my skin.
This facial scrub also has a lovely earthy/citrus scent and is gentle yet effective. I will definitely be repurchasing.

Nice scrub, but not blown away.
I enjoy this scrub and its natural properties, however I'm not hugely blown away. I bought this scrub because I wanted to add an exfoliator to my skin care routine (oily/combination skin) to help control blackheads and blemishes. Its gentle enough for me to use every day in the shower, however I can't say I have noticed a big difference in my skin and it makes me question the effectiveness of the product. That being said, my skin hasn't gotten any worse
Overall, a nice gentle scrub- however I feel there may be better options.
