[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the GroEgg2 for our second baby, after using the original GroEgg with our first. It definitely has some improved features! I love that the temperature is illuminated, so that you can read the exact temperature from the doorway. This model allows you to change how bright the nightlight glows - 3 different levels of brightness. I also love that you can choose to have the nightlight off completely, and just read the temperature. This is handy while it’s in our room, and hubby finds it too bright. Overall, I use the GroEgg to ensure that I’m dressing my baby appropriately for the night.

didnt use for a long time[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it was only helpful for the room temperature as i needed that to know how much to dress baby for sleep. but i find the alert light quite annoying - it'd turn red (room too warm) at a termperature that i dont think it was too warm. its stressful to see it always being in orange/red. each baby is different so i find it annoying that i couldnt set the lighting alert to what suits us. we ended up having to turn off the light. it was also too expensive for its limited function. i didnt need it very shortly as our baby monitor also has room temperature and its alert is much more reasonable.

Saviour![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gro egg 2 has been a saviour in our Tassie house! The weather since our daughter's birth in mid-December has varied from 5 degrees to 37 degrees! The egg has helped us to work out what to dress our daughter in for bed, and has provided peace of mind in the middle of the night. I love that you can turn off the light, as we now have it turned off so our daughter is not disturbed by it but it still provides enough light (from the lit up number) for the occasional late night feed.

Love it![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] EUC- The Gro-egg displays the exact room temperature. The Gro-egg changes color to let you know at a glance the temperature of a room. It looks very beautiful as well.
Works perfectly. Used for two bubs and put my mind at ease especially in the summer months.
Use the table to help choose the level of bedding and clothing for your baby. These are recommendations only and you will soon discover the best level of clothing for your individual baby. Great investment i love it

Useful to help dress bub[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recommended this product by a friend and it is great. As a FTM, I was really worried about dressing my bub and having him overheat. Being able to put the egg close to my baby's sleep space allowed me to ensure he was dressed appropriately. I also like how it doubles as a nightlight and the various nightlight colours tell you if the room is cold, just right or too warm. The 3 light settings is also a good feature so you can control the brightness of the light.

Gro Egg[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product! I have it in my room where my baby sleeps and its perfect in letting me know if I need to have the heater turned up or now in the summer have the AC on. I love how it glows as well. As the temp drops at night I can see the colour change and then my baby might wake up when its cold so its a great little indicator. Only thing to keep note of it plugs in as a USB not a normal power socket. I would recommend putting this item on your gift registry!

Viewable Temperature Light[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At $60 it’s a great piece of mind knowing what my room temperature is sitting at. Now that it’s almost winter here in Perth, I thought it was chilly but not as chilly as what the light orange and almost blue coloured lamp tells me! Makes it so much easier to know if you need to layer up bub with the chills, and unlayer for warmer days. Works by power point, have had no problems from when it was in our room til we moved it to his room. I would definitly recommend.

Easy to read[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the colour guide that indicates the temperature range of the room, quick and easy to tell if the room is the right temp for Bub. The different brightness levels are amazing for a dim light for initial settling to sleep/dream feed etc and then lower the light or turn off completely to darken the room and optimise babies sleep. The large bright number display means I can quickly find out the room temp across the room from bed (even without my glasses on haha)
