It is used to treat travel sickness because it contains a combination of dimenhydrinate, hyoscine hydrobromide and caffeine. Dimenhydrinate is an antihistamine that has an anti-vomiting effect. Hyoscine hydrobromide is an anticholinergic drug. Anticholinergics have a wide variety of actions and are well known for their use in the prevention of travel sickness. Dimenhydrinate is longer acting than hyoscine hydrobromide. Both of these ingredients may cause drowsiness. The addition of caffeine helps to counteract the drowsiness.

Adults: Take 1 to 2 tablets. Repeat every 4 to 6 hours as necessary (do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours). Children: 4-7 years: Half a tablet 8-13 years: One tablet.

Great motion sickness reliefI found this product while on a trip 10 years ago to Australia. I forgot my Dramamine on a tour to the Great Barrier Reef. I became very ill and when I reached our destination, a worker at the reef recommended this product to me. Within 15-20 minutes on our way back to our hotel, I felt like a totally different person. This product made me travel with ease, whether by boat, plane or car. I call it my wonder drug. I always have it with me on all our vacations. I recommend Travacalm to anyone who suffers from motion sickness.

Wouldn't travel without it!Our four kids all suffer motion sickness - two with nausea and two with regular vomiting. We had tried everything from lollipops to sucking lemons but this has been the only product to work effectively. Works well and makes a huge difference to our travelling days!
