Sasoon hair straightener
My 17 year old pink ghd finally gave up. Needing a quick replacement I bought a cheaper straightener. I was pleased to find this affordable straightner is just as good if not better than my very old limited addition ghd. Would highly recommend. It has different heat setting, having damaged blonde hair, that in it self was a stand out feature.

Buttons are a design flaw
It does what I want however unlike my larger VS straightener, the buttons on this are a major design flaw. On my other straightener they are inside the V of the unit. on this straightener is activated by the gold coloured bar on the outside. so when you clamp onto your hair you're simultaneously start changing the settings.

Coming from spending hundreds on straighteners, I just wanted something cheap since I don’t straighten my hair much anymore, without skimping out on quality and it’s definitely worth it!

Pretty standard straighteners. I couldn't really tell what significance the coating of the plates have as it made no difference. For the price, I guess you get what you pay for.

I am having trouble using this product because even the lowest temperature setting fries my hair, which is in excellent condition, so I have stopped using this product.
