Severely sensitive
My partner and I both suffer from sensitive scalps resulting in flaking and sometimes even sores and scabs. For myself in particular, I need to use a medicated ointment on occasion to alleviate the soreness and sensitivity. I thought I’d give this a go and impressively noticed a difference from the first wash. It’s hard to say whether it’s due to the shampoo or conditioner as I use both hand in hand. It has a really clean, refreshing scent and is a lovely consistency. I’ll continue to use it to see how it goes but so far my scalp health is improved and I hope this will help reduce the use of the ointment I’m prescribed.

A lovely and gentle conditioner
I'm a busy mum of 2 with long thick hair that is getting more dry as I get older. It's changing texture and I'm struggling to find conditioners that are rich but not too heavy and leave my hair feeling soft and clean but not greasy.
I have been looking for a new conditioner that doesn't upset my scalp yet gives my hair softness and shine without being heavy.
I have used Akin Sensitive conditioner for 4 weeks now and while it's not as nourishing as I'd hoped, I love how clean and shiny my hair feels. I am very happy with this, as it does not upset my scalp and I can add a little leave in conditioner to help with the dryness.

Disappointed
It seems Akin have changed their formula with the new packaging. I am now reacting badly with skin allergy to this sensitive conditioner. I’ve used this product in the past for years, as it was recommended by an allergy site, and used to be fragrance free, hypoallergenic. Now with the new formula, it is not. Disappointed that they’ve changed a good thing. I now can’t use this.

Sensitive Scalp Conditioner
The conditioner complements the A'kin Sensitive Care shampoo. It has been tailored for sensitive scalps with the use of natural ingredients.
The consistency of the conditioner is just right, not too thick making it easy to apply and distribute easily through the hair.
Unfortunately this conditioner did not suit my hair as it left it tangled after using. My hair was left dry from using it.
This product is perfect though for people with sensitive scalps. The labelling is an attractive light green with comprehensive information about the product.

Nice looking product
The bottle is sleek and looks great in the shower. It's easy to dispense the product.
It would be nice if there was a slight amount of fragrance. The conditioner doesn't feel very nourishing and doesn't feel like it coats your hair well. Because of this I find myself using a lot of product. Also, when used in conjunction with the shampoo I find my hair dry following use. I feel this isn't ideal for a product aimed at sensitive care.
I suffer from dry scalp and this product doesn't work great for me. I would not repurchase.

Perfect if you have scamp issue
I have started to use the conditioner together with shampoo 3 weeks ago.
First I wash my hair with shampoo and then I apply this conditioner. My scalp is quite sensitive, I suffer from pcos and scalp is often itchy and dry. If I use new products my scalp does not react well and it gets irritated. Same as shampoo the conditioner worked well, I applied it just on the end of my hair, conditioner was nice and hair are very soft. No irritation so far or itchiness which is amazing. My hair has an healthy appearance and feels good. I have been gifted the conditioner to try.

A’kin Sensitive Care Conditioner -100% Vegan!
I’ve been using this A’kin Sensitive Care Conditioner for the last 2 weeks. It’s a great conditioner for sensitive (as well as non-sensitive) scalps! I’m somewhat prone to a dry (sometimes flaky) scalp but this Conditioner eliminates this! I love that it’s Australian owned & made, 100% Vegan and fragrance-free. I have difficult curly hair (prone to frizz) and this A’kin Conditioner felt great and easily detangled my hair whilst boosting volume. My hair felt soft and hydrated. Leaves hair soft and shiny!
When used in connection with the matching shampoo this conditioner left my hair feeling soft, shiny, and well conditioned. It didn't irritate my scalp at all, and I haven't had any itchiness while using it. The only issue is that I found after multiple uses my scalp started to smell a bit oily after washing it. I am not sure if the residue wasn't rinsing properly, or the shampoo didn't cleanse enough. So I occasionally switch to a different shampoo for one wash. Then go back to this for its gentle-ness.
