The SA Smoothing Cream gently exfoliates bumps and dry patches without compromising the skin's natural barrier. Developed with dermatologists, the CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream also contains hydrating hyaluronic acid and three essential ceramides.

This smoothing cream targets dry and rough skin, and is also suitable for Keratosis Pillaris (chicken skin), a condition that results in red bumps on the face and body, usually on the upper arms and thighs.

Dead cells build up on the skin surface and create clogged pores and dry patches. The most common types of chemical exfoliates to remove bump skin and Keratosis Pillaris are Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs) and Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs). The CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream contains both salicylic acid which is a BHA, and also Lactic Acid which is an AHA. Additionally the CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream contains Urea which also exfoliates and stimulates cell renewal. This exfoliating cream provides skin smoothing properties. Consistent use helps the skin to feel soft and smooth.

Suitable for very dry, rough or bumpy skin. Also suitable for skin prone to Keratosis Piliaris.

Directions For Use

Apply liberally as often as needed. Avoid eye area. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

IT really does target dry areas and is fragrance free perfect for eczema etc. I used this for eczema and had a friend who had blister patches that dried up into flakey skin and this applied everyday really helped the skin barrier to heal. It is rare to find a cream like this. This is a bit too heavy for the face however really good to lock in moisture for the body. It is great for skin conditions that dry the skin out and repairs the barrier. What i love about cerave is that it is dermatologist approved

I have really textured skin and I’ve always struggled to find a cleanser that has helped to smooth my skin and prep my skin as well as leaving an amazing amount of hydration to my skin. This helps make my makeup flawless and it’s so affordable! I’ve tried so many cleansers on the market and it’s just doesn’t do the job, I’ve tried so many high end brands and yet I would chose this cleanser always. This is a great cleanser if you have combination skin as well it will really help get the hydration to the areas that are needed more hydration. This is the only cleanser that actually hasn’t made me break out after using it for the first time! In love!!

I loved that this product had no fragrance and actually resulted in smoother skin as promised. I found it most effective on the roughest areas such as knees and elbows. I applied it before my tan and none of the tanning products clung on my dry patches like they normally do. I also recommend using this cream on the face overnight. It is quite a thick formula so it wasn't the best cream to wear during the day or under makeup. Overall, I was pleased with this cream and I would probably purchase it again.

It is a little bit thick in consistency so I felt like it was more suited to the body than the face however I tried it a couple of times before bed and through the night it soaks in. It is quite affordable for those looking for a moisturiser which is higher quality than some on the market. I probably wouldn’t be converted from my usual face cream in this instance but I’ll definitely keep using the product for a smoothing effect on the back of my arms and chest ect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cathy H. from Non greasy, absorbs quickly and no smell at all! I was a little nervous to try this after reading the reviews here but gave it a go anyway and I’m so glad I did! It’s definitely not greasy and absorbed so quickly into my skin, my face is usually red after cleansing and moisturising, and my pores are enlarged, I also have dry patches around my nose and on my chin, but after applying this my skin wasn’t red at all and my pores appeared smaller, and my chin doesn’t feel dry either, I’m very impressed! There is a very slight tingling on the usually dryer parts of my face like around my nose, but otherwise no other issues. And also absolutely no smell! My skin just feels soft and smooth, I’d definitely recommend!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Alice W. from Hydrating, but not my favourite [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this product because the cleanser I really enjoyed, but immediately after opening you can smell the fragrance free smell which isn't very pleasant. The cream was hydrating and did work with the cleanser well, but the combination wasn't amazing. I still prefered to use my usual moisturiser on my body and facial oils on my face as they just felt nicer on my skin, but that might just be me - I would recommend trying the combo for yourself and seeing if this works for you - it wasn't awful, it just wasn't a must have combo like I wanted it to be.

My legs and feet have never looked better but would always burn my face. I initially used it as my last step after cleansing and applying serums and thought it may have been a reaction to my serums but then used for a few weeks without any serum use beforehand and it still burned. My ten yr old daughter now uses daily and has had no issues. The consistency is nice and thick so ideal for night time use, not fantastic to use in the morning especially before applying makeup.

It blended into my skin quite well; it's also thick, creamy and very moisturising. I used it mainly for my foot and hands, as I find those areas to be the roughest and I needed a heavier product for these areas in general. Upon my first application I noticed that my feet and hands soaked up the cream quite well and my skin instantly felt a lot less rough. Overtime, using this product helped my feet and hands feel a lot smoother, softer and the skin felt less textured and bumpy. All in all, it's a great product and I would use it again!
