Liked the original formula better
I don't understand why you changed the formula. The original formula was much nicer. This new formulation is heavier, stickier and smells different (it's not necessarily bad, but its slightly off putting and plastic-y?). I really loved the old formulation, it applied smoother and sunk into the skin nicer. It wasn't so sticky and it didn't have a weird smell. Really disappointing because this formula just doesn't really work for me now. Although, I am going to try the lighter 'Moisturising Lotion' in this range after I have finished this bottle but if that is similar to this version then I'll have to look for another moisturiser.

Delivers what it promises
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this product is very effective, it gives the hydrating results that you would want when buying and ultra hydrating lotion. Packaging is nice and easy to use, very user friendly. The texture considering it is an ultra hydrating lotion which you would think would be heavy it actually quite light and smooth. My issues with it are the scent, I really do not like it, to me it smells like play-doh which isn't what I'm after when buying a lotion and I also find it to be quite greasy and takes a while to dry/get rid of that greasy feeling.
Overall as a product it does what it promises

Light, hydrating, effective moisturiser
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best moisturisers I have used. I have always loved Cetaphil and use their sensitive face wash every single morning and night.
This moisturiser is so effective for dry skin sometimes I have dry spots under my eyes and it works a treat. I also use this lotion as hand cream as I get very dry skin, I do not have eczema so I cannot say to how good it would be for eczema but it’s great for very dry skin!!
I would absolutely recommend this lotion, I use the Yuka app for lots of my skincare products and this lotion has a 93/100 score which is FANTASTIC.

Gives you that hydrated feeling instantly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cetaphil daily hydrating lotion with hyaluronic acid is simply amazing. It's a nice fine fluid type texture similar to a serum that glides on so easily with no sticky or oily residue. It immediately sinks in, giving a moisturisered feeling, leaving the skin feeling hydrated. Like most cetaphil products, there is no scent, making it perfect for sensitive type skins. Comes in a nice simple package that's easy to read and easily disposed of. Definitely recommend cetaphil Daily hydrating lotion with hyaluronic acid for someone that likes a light fluid type moisturiser

Not as good since the formulation changed.
I have been using Daily Advance Ultra Hydrating Lotion for more than ten years and it has been my go to moisturiser. About a year ago, I noticed that the formulation was changed. The lotion's texture and feel were different, with what feels like a larger amount of glycerin. It now feels more like a much cheaper version of Sorbolene.
I have also noticed that it leaves my skin feeling rough and in need of exfoliation more often. The previous formulation left my skin soft and smooth instead.
A message to Cetaphil: please change the formulation back to what it was before. It was much better than it is now.

Thin, smooth, staple moisturising!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A suitable staple, basic lotion. It has a smooth texture when it comes out of the tube. The tube makes it easy to apply directly to the skin before rubbing in with your hands. It doesn’t have any obnoxious scents, so it’s perfect to use everyday. It is suitable to maintain the skin moisture barrier, but if you have eczema I would suggest a stronger moisturising agent. Unfortunately I found that it does hurt when applied to eczema and does cause localised redness unlike other lotions I have tried. Otherwise it is a decent lotion at a reasonable price.
