Rated 1 out of 5 by from New formula is terrible I have used the old formula of this moisturiser/sunscreen for years, and I loved everything about it. Unfortunately, this new formulation just isn't as good, not even close. First, it leaves white casts, unlike the old formula. That alone wouldn't be a deal-breaker, though. Second, when it gets into my eyes, it burns, unlike the old formula. Even having it on my fingers after application, if I touch my eyes, it burns them. That IS a dealbreaker. I won't buy this product again unless Cetaphil brings back the old formula. I even went online to scavenge the two remaining tubes with the old formulation, but once they're finished, I will have to find another product. Such a shame.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please bring back old formula I don’t usually write reviews but I really bad reaction to this. I was using the old version/formula for over a year and it was perfect as I spend a lot of time working outdoors in the sun and I would never get sunburnt. I noticed the old formula wasn’t available at the chemist anymore so I bought the new version and ended up having a bad reaction to it that left my skin dry, red and irritated which took a couple days to get better. Disappointing that this has happened, the old formula of this product worked so well but I have to find something else now, hopefully the old version can be brought back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WHY DID YOU CHANGE IT?????? It was perfect before, and you changed it to make it horrible. The new formula irritates my eyes and makes them water all day, it also irritates and dries out my skin, and breaks up my makeup. The old formula was absolutely perfect it every way and I cant understand why you would change it. Is it to make more money for your shareholders? If that is the motivation, then you have failed because I will never buy it again, and I used it religiously before. Judging by the comments here I am not the only one who feels this way. Please bring the old formula back and get rid of this awful replacement.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BRING BACK NEW FORMULA This was the first sunscreen I have ever bought for my face that had been amazing for my skin for almost a year until the formula changed. At first when I put the new formula sunscreen on my face it was burning /stinging a bit which I thought was odd until the next day I noticed I had been breaking out badly with redness all over and tiny bumps scattered on my cheeks. I was very disappointed when I found out they changed the old formula because it has been one of the only products that have actually worked for my skin. Now I’ve been going through a thought time finding a new sunscreen that isn’t too harsh on sensitive skin. P.S I know I broke out from the new formula because it was the only change in my skin care routine

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible new formula I never write reviews but had to for this awful product change :( I had been wearing UVA/UVB Defense 50+ for years and it was my absolute favourite. I bought the updated version Daily Defence Cream SPF50 and my skin broke out in redness, my eyes were irritated and eczema - I have never had a reaction to products in the past and do not have sensitive skin. Very disappointed with this change and will now need to throw out and purchase another product. Terrible and would not recommend for anyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst cream ever! Made my skin VERY dry! I am a certified Cetaphil user for a year now and I have a sensitive skin that is why I only buy Cetaphil since it has non-comedogenic formula. Unfortunately, I ran out of this moisturizer that I want I bought this cream a week ago. I have been using this cream four days now and I noticed it is drying to my face compared to the previous formula. I noticed my skin was peeling, itching, burning and there has been redness on my cheeks. I am going to throw this product after discovering these feedback! I will switch to another brand!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DAILY DEFENCE CREAM SPF 50 I have used the DAILY DEFENCE CREAM SPF 50 for over 10 years but stopped in July after the new formula was released. It caused a burning sensation and my skin was left extremely dry. I have sensitive combination skin and found the old formula extremely calming. It was also great to have a moisturiser with SPF. I would love to find an alternative from Cetaphil that works for sensitive skin and has SPF. I previously trusted Cetaphil without question but this change has worried me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New Formula I have used this product for a few years now and loved it! I have very sensitive skin and a lot of sunscreens cause a rash on my face. However, this product was great. I ran out of it last week and purchased a new bottle and when I applied it, I instantly new they had changed the formula. It dried out my skin straight away and has made my face sting all over, especially my eyes. Really upset about the formula change as I found this product was reasonably priced and great for my sensitive skin. Please bring back the old formula!!
