What I can say is that this is a really lovely serum and good value for the price. Overall my skin felt moisturised and definitely smoother and more plump. I am really prone to redness around my nose and chin and this serum absorbed nicely without any irritation and my makeup stayed put. In my opinion there are many more expensive serums that do less and cost a lot more. I would definitely recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky to have been sent the Cetaphil Optimal Hydration range for trial which includes their daily cream, eye serum, body spray, body lotion and activation serum. The actovation serum has got to be one of my favourites within their range. The applicator is an easy to use pump and the bottle fits nicely in your hand. I wish other serums came in a pump like this. There is no scent which is great for my dry and often sensitive skin. The serum is non greasy and has completely hydrated my flakey skin! It feels super smooth and refreshed in the mornings! Overall, very pleased with the range!

The instant soothing and hydration this serum gave my skin has been incredible. My redness, texture and blotchy complexion improved out of sight after 3 days of using both day and night. This is the product I’ve been searching for in an attempt to nurture and restore my damaged skin barrier. I really can’t fault it at all. The texture, how easily it absorbs into the skin and the instant calming results it provides is almost too good to be true. I’d happily recommend this serum to anyone looking for max hydration and great results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Cetaphil® Optimal Hydration 48 Hour Activation Serum for a few weeks now along with the eye cream and face cream. It does absorbs really quickly and you only need a small amount for it to go a long way and to keep my skin hydrated. I’m not sure if I can comment on keeping my skin moisturised for 48 hours as I definitely reapply within that time period but I would say my skin doesn’t feel tight after I wash my face the following morning. I haven’t noticed any change in my skin texture and it hasn’t been visibly refined and smooth, as it claims, since I’ve used it.

Using it twice a day, it felt nice on my highly sensitive skin. It absorbs in to the skin very rapidly. My skin did feel moisturised and it helped restore the moisture balance to my skin that was going through a period of high reactivity. It is certainly suitable for those with sensitive skin. While I enjoyed the moisturising properties of this product, I don't think I would repurchase as I don't feel that I saw a great benefit from using this product.

A little bit of product went a long way and left my skin feeling hydrated, soft and plump. The formula is non-greasy and didn't cause my skin to become oily by the end of the day. Was a great boost to hydration especially when used under the daily mosituriser. I have very sensitive skin and had no issues using this product. There is no fragrence which is great. I was using high end products costing $150+ per month and my skin has never looked better since using. The pump bottle made it perfect for getting the right amount of product.

There’s no fragrance and it’s just works so well with my sensitive-prone-to-dryness skin. The pump packaging is convenient and it applies and absorbs like a dream. I layer it under the Optimal Hydration Daily Cream and can’t rave about it enough. During the current change of seasons when my skin is usually a scaly, flaky mess - I am currently experiencing a smooth, gorgeous, even toned and glowing complexion! I’m so, so glad I got to try these products as they have made a huge positive difference for me. I’d absolutely recommend this product to anyone!

And this one doesn't disappoint! It's beautiful and light and soaked in quickly. Leaving my face feeling well hydrated and it layered up well with moisturiser afterwards. The packaging itself was handy. One pump is all you need to do your face. Maybe one and a half if you are feeling extra dry and want to take it down your neck as well. I also had no irritation with this serum. It's a nice plain formula but it packs a punch in terms of ingredients list and performance. I would highly recommend this serum to my friends and family.
